pvp trinket opinions

I see many dps going double dps trinkets. Whenever I do that just sit CC nonstop from rogues and locks. Plus not being able to trinket a fear is basically asking for a destro lock to "lawl oneshot". Maybe they just roll with pocket heals, or my luck is trash tier.

What is your take on the double dps vs pvp triinket?
 
The people that do are usually running with a pocket healer or premade. It's probably okay on Mages/Locks because they're squishy anyways, but for any other class on solo queue, pvp trinket is always preferred

Then nothing will get worse except the one you would have used it on.

I think just playing for kicks and giggles there's no reason... unless you need to protect your ego or actually be able to make a clutch play at some point in a match to win, there's little reason to worry about it in randoms. It can only help once every 2 mins anyway - which can also be said about most DPS trinkets with cooldowns too tho. So personal preference, i guess.
 
1) Just accept the bracket for what it is. Just warped perspectives.

2) Occasionally I like to use Elk tusk and Adrenaline Injector on Enhance and just go slap happy on a healer. The on use trinkets are much easier to use if you have a stealth/out of combat option so you can unload them, swap to other trinkets, then reload at 30 seconds... but enhance does not, so you are kind of stuck with them during the cooldown window... not great.

3) Arena sure use a trinket... for open BG pugs... I mean its basically Marvel vs. Capcom... trinket is not really up enough to warrant using it. Maybe in a game where you assess the leaderboard at the start and determine the game might actually be "even" then use it.
 
Those do look nice, but I end up eating fears more than stuns. Specially with how many disc priests and locks there are.
On a more serious note, I can echo what others have said... I just dont find it useful on my warrior. My entire BG existence is sitting in CC. Clearing one of those every 2 minutes is just kinda... meh. So I get feared by a lock or trapped by a hunter? Odds are, my trinket would have been down anyway. Now obviously, if we're about to get a clean engagement onto an FC or maybe Im trying to take a node in AB and its gonna be 2 v 3 or something... I'll probably put it on then. But mostly? why bother?

I'm far more likely to use my trinket on my lock or shaman. Mainly just by virtue of being ranged, I'm likely to take less CC and thus can clear a higher percentage of that CC, as well as having the tools to make that more rewarding. If a rogue opens on my shaman and trinket means I get static field down and ghost wolf outta there... that can be huge. Way more than clearing a stun on my warrior when I'm just gonna be RP walking forwards anyway.

That said, I wouldnt go into an arena game without my pvp trinket, regardless. Far more impactful in 2s and 3s than it is in a WSG midclash.
 
pvp trinket above all else, it makes the largest difference and unless you have a good racial its a must have

Iam 99% sure you eat <1 second of the fear then it gets you out of it.

As for the trinket you will find most people have multiple trinkets plus multiple gear sets.

Echoing a must for arena and situational in BGs.

I normally run double dps for first clash then pvp trinket for objective play after that, then swap out on CD.
 
As someone who generally solo queues, I find PvP quite unpleasant without the PvP trinket.
It wasn’t so bad on my Hunter, as they have several tools at their disposal, but with my melee toon - it’s a must.
I’ve also got some of the Living Potions but it’s never off CD in a bg :PepeHands:
 
I use two dps trinkets, why? I que random and dont care atall about dying or winning , we either have a team, and they'll support so i won't need the pvp trinket, or i wont, and we get wiped out faster than i could go, yeah ill remove this stun in the stack of 10 stuns and ccs that hit me,
So id rather rip abit more dmg before i die, than have 70 more hp and remove a stun every two mins,
Stun resistance meta gems though, aye im all about them..

Also i do camp for living action pots, farmed about 90 as well as drums to crazy numbers so i can remove a stun and get angry, makes me lol.

I always rock a trinket unless I'm in an arena where there's not much enemy cc... Warrior/shaman 2s for example. You can afford double dps trinkets here because... you're not gunna get out of a slow between the two of them and they have no "Hard CC" anyway
