PVP Shoulder Enchant + BoA = 350hp

Yes people, there is still a shoulder enchant that works.

as of 3.0.8a it still works and blizz didn'T do anything.



the shoulder chant costes 10k honor and gives 30stam and 15 resilience.

it makes the item soulbound when it is enchanted. but since BoA are already bound it doesn'T matter right. so enchant it, then throw back your BoA to your twink and that's it !

for all i know blizz knows and doesn't plan on doing a single thing for it !

seeing how easy it took me to get 10k honor its just a matter of hour to get them on your BoA far less time consuming then getting herb at 450 back in the time !



go on ahead, make yourself a favor by em put em on, get 300 more HP and get -2% chance of getting critted. all worth it at 19 if you ask me !

Not worth it as blue post says it's a bug and hence using it is more or less an exploit.

you arnt going to get banned for using it, so get it while you can, i already turned my emblems into 4 pairs of shoulders and chanted them before its removed for any twinks ill make in the future.

Well i'd say it's up to your personal ethics if you get those or not. Just realize that the lower brackets become more and more screwed up this way. Blizzard is doing a great job of ruining all aspects of WoW PVP these days. I wonder if they ever read on forums like this here.

well in a competitive pvp enviroment the idea is to get all the advantages you can, people are running around with 2k hots and 500 bonus hp and 8% extra crit be damned if im not gonna get 300 hp extra

Getting advantages available to everyone is fine of course. But grandfathering should be stopped. And while i don't deny you the right to get the glitched shoulder enchant you must acknowledge the fact that each player who uses such advantages screws the lower brackets up a little more (same goes for the players who roll yet another hunter).

There is some truth to that. Still i wouldn't want this enchant. Mainly because i can't get it that easily right now but also because i really don't want to.

not getting this enchant is like choosing not to get AGM or choosing to not get Fishing gear, if you dont get it and it gets fixed, the brackets will already be screwed up, and you will be on the reciving end of an ass wooping at a 730-800hp 1280 heal disadvantage and theres nothing you could do about it, ever. if anything getting these shoulders minimizes the damage that has already been done. (although saying that now 450 twinks have 800 more hp then everyone else ) but myeah!

To answer the question, yes it still works as of 2/5/09 (did it on a new pair for my up and coming druid).



As to if it's an exploit... No more so than the gathering cap being removed then re-instated. If Blizzard does what it has historically, if they hotfix it, then they'll also grandfather the enchant- so do it fast fast fast!

ok, the point being, there is no exploit in this !

an exploit is using a glitched up method like using a soulbound method and throwing it in mail or guild bank before the server gets the status by using lag to your advantage ! this i snot an exploit, as i mentionned before, blizzard knows this, but their answer is, we don't see a reason for us to change it !



so what many of you might consider is that if blizzard weren't listening to their forums, you'd have never seen that prof problem to begin with. as it was mentionned before, there was a cap on it, people asked that it was removed, and it was, now people asked that it was gotten back and it was.



is it blizzard ruining the game, or those that ask for things and switch minds later on !

if blizzard didn't want us to put this thing on, they would have made it work on 60+ items which the BoA clearly aren't !

its that simple, most of what blizz does right now, is done because of their forum getting full of people who brag about things. sure their way of seeing things is different, but it is still our decision to have asked for the change to begin with !

This is so true. There are so many people who hate twinks for screwing up a low level BG in the first place. I sympathize with them, but there nothing against any official or common decency rules prohibiting a player from gearing up their toon.



It's funny then that amongst the twinks there would be some sort of moral dilemma over one piece of gear, especially when it's a perfectly legitimate upgrade.



If you have an issue with grandfathering, then save that argument for a thread about grandfathering. This enchant hasn't been grandfathered. Let's keep this thread on topic.



A post saying "I'm not going to get this enchant. I don't think it's right. Grandfathering is ruining twinking. Look at what they did with professions." That doesn't make any sense. You hate this enchant because of what Blizz did with professions? Yeah....let's keep this thread about shoulder enchants.

I'd like to agree- and add that, as twinks, we're only doing the exact same thing that high-end (and even casual) raiding guilds do in order to succeed at their goals (IE- 25-man raid content). Raiders need to have maxed gear possible (via heroics or 10-man encounters) enchants on gear, appropriate trade skills (I’ve seen more than one Druid/Rogue forced to level leatherworking for Drums of War for BC raiding, prior to WotLK) gems, flasks and food buffs.



Twinks do the same thing, with gear (best we can find, either BoE, BoP or BoA) enchants, trade skills, food buffs, etc.



There will always be people who cry foul on both, mostly because they lack the dedication (notice I didn’t say time- I work full-time in a job that requires travel, and manage a household, yet still find time to raid and twink) to do the work.



Personally, I’m PROUD of the work I’ve put in, and feel that I’ve earned my place to go head-to-head with other twinks of the opposing faction. And everyone here should feel proud too. Few understand the pain of fishing in STV at 19, in hopes to get a hat or boots with a .03% drop rate for two hours a week only. Less so has sat up late at night in the arena, cautiously waiting for the chest to be dropped in hoped of getting one token closer to your (insanely) powerful trinket.



Let the casual PvP-ers cry “unfair” if they want. I, for one, will continue to push the limits of the 19’s (and soon 29’s) because I know there’s another player on the opposite side doing that very thing.

i can't se if Blizz would fix this,since every one can get it? Its not the same as Mining, Skinning and herb since u req to could get some xp, to get em. and this is all about your main. and i think blizz liketo se people farm the Hc's and raid some more to get them.
