Does anyone know if level 20 is dropping the purple BoE that requires level 20?

it is lvl 27 in LBRS. (Dropped for Beerlover)

lvl 25 toons are able to score EPICS witha lvl 20 req?!

Thought of BOE Epics lately... But then remembered, that the only BOE Epic I have ever looted in my live was Destiny in 2005 
Is there a Minimum Level required for droping Epics? Will a Level 11/20 be able to drop/loot those scaled Epics when grinding "endgame"-Zones?
And finally: Is there a formula to calculate the dropped iLvl/Level-Req regarding the looting Toon's Level?

A Destiny in 2005 was a HUGE drop. Can you tell me anything else you remember about that story?
At that time I had just been born, unfortunately I didn't get WoW on Prime.
Where did you get it, and did you sell it, or use it? It was BiS (not counting Molten Core items)?

It dropped while leveling my warrior with some ogre grind in burning steppes at around level 55/56.
It wasn't BiS for anyone^^. It had 2.4 Attackspeed back then, while only Arms/Retri could use it and there were 3.6 Weapons around. Weapon speed was crucial at this time.
I used it anyway, maybe for style, until I had my Arcanite Reaper crafted after a heavy load of brs runs for the plans(which I did as a tank of course...).

25's were the toon level you brought to farm up the bugged ilvl28 BoE greens during SL, the ones from Legion or BFA that could proc a tert & gemslot on em
& sold on the AH for absurd amounts...
As is, seems like lvl 27 is the number for farming up BoE Epics...
But man... do I ever miss those world farms!?! Good times. Very good times.

The best spots for this are all the old World Farm spots: The Ghosts in Azuna, the Candlebois in Highmountain, & the Legion Assault hyperspawn points.
heh, still coasting on the pile of g i made on i28 boes, playin for free via tokens ever since. that 2.5mil warbank tab took a chunk tho. i'm familiar with how often i got epics, i ain't bootin up the farm team, it wouldn't be good g/time. might be better bought than farmed.

Sure was nice selling those BiS necks for 1.5m-2.1m tho!
