Protection Warrior FC Gear

I played 19s a lot through the end of Burning Crusade and most of Wrath of the Lich King. Recently I reactivated my account and I've been updating my twinks. How does this look? Any changes that can or should be made? It's not maximum stamina; to gain around 100 more health I'd have to sacrifice some armor and lots of strength/agility.

24 armor to legs
I prefer the PvP shoulder's with resilience
+3 stam neck, agility is only used for crit, no longer grants dodge
would use seal of sylvanas over wrynn if you have it, deadskull shield as well if you have itt
try for BoA tanking helm if you have lvl 20 guild

Look here man, from an oldschool warrior himself, don't read that Clap bs armory.

Take it from someone with actual skill.

Get rid of that nasty shield, throw yourself a redbeard. On top of that, remove that neck and replace it with the JC (Thick Bronze Necklace)

Now, seeing as your a human, that double agm is understandable. However, as ally you're gonna need speed in order to kite, or get anywhere near safety, trust me. I know you wanna stack stam, but get yourself minor speed increase

Use those stam boots whenever you're at a stand still or turtling. But when you're running that flag you want nothing other than speed.

Do that, and you're golden. All comes down to the obvious, can you jump/strafe well?

Goodluck man! Glad some oldschool twinks are coming back.

Can definitely get the better armor kit. Didn't see one I guess.
I've also got the PvP shoulders; if/since they're better I'll use them. Is there any way to transmogrify them to look like the other BoA shoulders?
I've got the Thick Bronze Necklace but so far I prefer the Sentinel's Medallion since Alliance has no DPS on defense and because of that I need all the damage I can get to make up for that. I'll equip it when there's actually a decent amount of defense in games, but other than that I stick to Sentinel's Medallion.
I'd love a Seal of Sylvanas and Deadskull Shield but this character was never Horde:(

I like the setup. BoA helm would be better tho ;)
Yeah I'd like the BoA helmet too but I don't have anyone exalted with a level 20 guild or whatever or 1500g, plus the Lucky Fishing Hat gives me swag points. ;)
when fc'ing i wuld suggest the pvp boa dagger 4 stam 3 resi is the best 1h fc stats you can get, use the boa sword when ever you're not holding the flag so you can do some dmg.
I have to do more than some damage anyways to make up for the fact that Alliance puts no DPS on defense at all except in very good PUGs.

Hey, thanks for the information! Redbeard Crest I can definitely get. I have the Thick Bronze Necklace but like I said above I usually use the Sentinel's Medallion since Alliance never dedicates any DPS to defense so I usually have to make up for that. I can use it for when we do have defense, though.
I'll use the minor speed for running it. I have Savage Trodders with minor speed but I'll get another pair of Silver-Linked if I can actually find one. Thanks for the help!
I would keep the BoA tanking sword since in pugs you wont always have alot of dps on D

Yeah usually there's next to no defense (or offense; people just farm mid) other than a healer or two and a 900hp Night Elf Rogue who thinks he's helping, so I think the sword is a better choice for now. I'll get the dagger though just because it'll obviously be better in certain situations. Since the dagger is more geared towards survivability, should I put Lifestealing or Crusader on it? Crusader will obviously give more damage and that's what I have on the sword. Will its damage help make up for the dagger's lack of damage, or should Lifestealing be used? Does it give more healing than Crusader?

Also, another unrelated question - resistance gear. I've been gathering random resistance gear I see on the auction house and from quests (Keeshan's Bandana, Zircon Ring of Frost Resistance, Firebane Cloak). Is this stuff worth using in games with a lot of casters? I've never actually used any of it since most offenses consist of Rogues and Hunters, but would the loss of stamina make up for the resistance gained for mage/warlock/priest heavy games? Just with those three pieces on I can get around 33% fire resistance and slightly less arcane and a lot less frost, but it's still something.

Thanks for all the information everyone, appreciate it!

Yes you can xmog the shoulders, however it requires a warrior/DK/paladin above level 40 where they can use plate. You then need to use the mail transmog bug. I understand the need to have enough offense to PuG FC on ally side :p

For weapon chant you'll want to stay with crusader, lifesteal does not proc enough to make it worthwhile. For weapon you can stick with the tanking BoA sword if you need the damage. I also like the battleworn thrashblade because it keeps the weapon damage of tanking sword but also has resilience. You can switch to pvp dagger whenever you need the extra stam without the extra damage.

Resistances can be great but as you said, you are more likely to run into hunters/rogues. I prefer armor/resilience over resistances for most situations.
