EU+US Protection Paladin

Hey guys, was just wondering if prot paladin is a viable choice in this bracket? Warriors have a bunch of CC and stuns to make themselves useful in bgs, how about paladins?

There's no cc lol If it had pummel and aoe damage, like Revenge, I would be playing sword and board. Thunderclap can't even hold threat.

Prot is viable in all the same ways ret or holy is viable but does less dmg and healing than those options.

prot bgs are fun but you'll get made fun of a lot, also you wont be as good if you're not vet obviously
