    • Hey guys, gonna cut straight to the point. From personal experience, what would you say is the better enchant for Sharpened Scarlet Kris, Crusader or Lifestealing? I'd quite like some insight as to the proc rate of LS on this weapon, as Crusader(the current chant I have) doesn't proc very often with the dagger compared with my normal sword.



    N.B. I do not use this in pugs, except for when I am alone with the flag and I know there are rogues about, then I will switch to resi dagger and def stance to eat up some dmg, and will quickly switch back to Bloodsoaked Skullforge Reaver when I know i've got them all out of stealth.

    have you considered 15 strength? at first glance, it looks kinda frilly, however if you give it some thought.. you mention that you want to find an alternative because you can't rely on the broc, well how about skipping the idea all together and going for a set amount of parry? just a thought, i MAY theorycraft this if i get time later today <3
     
    Aha! Ofc 15str was high up there when I was kitting out Bath with chants, HOWEVER, there's some sort of bug with the 15str weapon enchant in that it doesnt give parry (though it does still increase your str by 15 and grant the 30ap, strange, I know). So in effect it's purely a dps chant, and serves no real purpose for a defensive, prot FC. This saddened me when I first tried it out, because (as you probly seen in game) I was going for a max avoidance set and I didnt really want to have to rely on crusader procs for my extra parry, I'd rather just have it passive.



    Having said all that, my only 15str weapon is butcher's slicer. SO, it may just be the weapon im using, whether because it's GF'd or that specific one has some strange bug. But I did speak to an enchanter who's been playing since vanilla and has almost every enchant imaginable (100% of twink ones) and he says there's been a history of bugs with the 15str to weapon chant, which makes me believe that it's not the sword. (The chanter is Ouef/Bouef the Tauren/Human warrior that used to be about back in the draenor heydays, was leading a guild along with Dreaxx and Kore if you remember?)
