Pros/Cons of Horde vs. Alliance

Alliance hunters put more emphasis into their gear before they step foot into battlegrounds, grabbing eyepatch and other dungeon/ quest blues. They rarely have any open slots and have close to the HP I explained before. Horde hunters do not have the same gear options. Most have at least the head slot open and do not wait until ideal gear before they start pugging. Therefore, the alliance in general put more emphasis on getting the better gear offered to their faction before they start to pvp when compared to the horde.

This is pretty much the same thing I wrote earlier, but perhaps this will make more sense.

Alliance leather doesn't need to "put more emphasis" on gearing up, because their BiS gear is extremely easy to get. A Horde leather agility class can't simply go into stocks and come out with their head slot filled. They need to either: 1. level Eng and obtain mats for goggles (which would end up taking a while on it's own, because this would be the last step as far as professions are concerned) 2. Get lucky on a fishing daily quest for WBFH or 3. Get really lucky on a Sunday and get LFH.

Even Alliance casters are stronger than Horde casters before LFH, especially now that goggles give +4 hit.
