pros and cons of f2p community.

Pros-Good community, several pro players. Slightly balanced in a way, fun of simple bgs, gearing, holidays and arenas. Its pretty much low level fun without the price. Its also more competitive.

Cons.- Non except 24s.

Pros: queueing for BGs and dungeons with cool people
<
if you need any help there's bound to be someone on who will help you :)

Cons: assholes.

- You wont get AGM or only with craploads of work - Con

- You got people to talk to at like every given time (LOLZ whocares) - Pro

Only way to go if you wanna play horde. Pugging as horde is just plain painful, rolling AP ensures that you will have people to play with.

I'm assuming based off your topic title you want the pros and cons of having a community vs not having a community. Since no where does it specifically mention AP.

Having a community

Pros - In general it makes the game more enjoyable especially with such a large active community such as AP.

Friendly people that will help you get shit done (ie Dungeon run, groups formed, and occasionally rep farms)

Cons - If your a very gear dependent player getting the AGM will be tough.

Not having a community

Pros - You don't have to put up with any bullshit.

Cons - Your alone. That's rough when you can't ask for help, have no one to talk to, and must solo que for nearly everything.

Hopefully this answers your question!

Painful is a better way to put it. Theres a difference between having to earn your win and having to completely carry every last retard on your team.

Every time I play my alliance rogue the game ends in a gy camp unless there's a bunch of 24s or an AP 5+ man. Pugging horde I have been the victim of similar violations.

Does xserver BGs now grab from all battlegroups? Sorry couldn't find any easy answer on google.

If no then the alternatives to AP that are in the same battlegroup are not great. All medium to high pop servers, so chances of an easy AGM run are not great unless you have P2P help.

My original pally was on a server not in APs battlegroup, yet I often got in games with various characters from AP.

That's how earl and shau recruited me <3

It only took me 6 days of no competition looting to get my agm on that toon

Edit - Original server was Frostwolf on bloodlust While Aierie peak is on Nightfall
