Proffesion buffs- get yours to max now.

I mean to say some people won't have a opportunity to level mining at all with the new patch. Makes it IMPOSSIBLE for a new twink to get as good as the one's that putted lot effort in leveling mining and herbing and such before the patch.

Now consider wanting to make a new pro-twink --> FAIL against twinks with 450 profession

It's quiet simple:

1) Some twinks got to 450 with mining/skinning/herbalism, taking this away is impossible because this required tons of effort and money

2) New twinks can't go to 450 and the difference between the guys that got 450 and can't go over 150 is way to big

solution:

Let 19 twinks still be able to go to 450.

I think they should completely remove it from twinks if it is above there level range. I dont think they will but if new twinks cant have it it isnt very fair, especially as some of those newer twinks would have put the effort in. Keep it or get rid of, there is no middle ground.

I honestly think all twinks should just be bumped back down to 150 and have the level req's be put on, profession buffs and stupid things like Enti's are all contributing to ruining the bracket; I for one want it back to how it was.

I think they should get every one to low back to 150 or let every one get to 450. It's not fair for people that just started twinking (like me). There is almost no way we can get to 375 by the time the patch gets out. And people that starts after it wont be able eather.

Blizzard isn't about to take away something you worked so hard for. However I do agree with this, I think another way can be used by just including a Level Requirement on the passive buff's.

ie. if you have 450 mining: level requirement should be like 70. Don't restrict gathering professions. just put level requirements on the passive buff.

Great idea, I think that would be the best solution as well.

Or they'll realize that since Burning Crusade launched they can't please us as a group either way, decide we're too much upkeep & just add experience to BG's as the Final Solution. Lol.

I mean honestly, what was the last non-class-specificc buff that was embraced? Profession buffs? Not everyone can get them without rerolling. Naxx? Not everyone ran naxx / had high-level mains / has the gold or money. Maybe the Leg Enchants.

That aside, I just find the timing of this amusing. Future repercussions aside, twinks had months to level their professions, though almost all of them just stuck with the bugged 225 mining. Now they're fixing the mining bug and adding profession level requirements in one fell swoop. All things considered, there will probably be very few active twinks with professions above 300, simply because that mining bug existed.

Thread necro, because this post made me laugh in light of all that has happened.

Hmm

Wtb SS of this on ptr.
