Profession skillpoints and lvl

What am i missing here? According to wowwiki u should have char lvl 25 for gathering professions and 35 for non-gathering to lvl to artisan. So how can lvl 19 have mining or herbs 300 or over that?

I ment that i have seen ppl have that much skillpoints at 19 and i dont get how that is possible to be more exact. Did not mean i want to use tricks that are not allowed myself..or is this allowed?

Well..one example..killer lock that rocks

They did it before the skill-level cap was in place, for a while these proffessions were grandfathered but eventually a level cap was placed (55) for 450 and so they became useless, a few people have kept them.

It has always been the case that people can level gathering professions to max level (since release i think), but after twinks started getting 450/450 and 'abusing' the system to get the large buffs only designed for higher levels, Blizzard implemented a nerf on these professions so it is no longer possible for a 19 to go past 225.. Those whom leveled past this had their talent, such as Lifebloom unusable as they no longer had the required level. Those who still have above 225 at level 19 gain no benefit from it.

Oki good to know game is fair in this matter. And just to be fair to lock..he has been real hard opponent and talented always.. did not mean he is good cause he has mining lvl high.
