What is it to be a sponsored player? When I think sponsored gamer I think back to MLG for halo 2 . I keep getting ripped a new one for playing a 24 rogue and being a "no name" "Unsponsored player". Not that I care for the trash talk from team mates but looking into these peoples gear I noticed they aren't geared as least on that particular toon. I'd also like to throw out there that I would never Bg in a xp off bracket without first gearing up to at least my second/third BiS items. This is the rogue I'm playing and this is the gear I started bging with him in. ROGUE

I've never heard of a "sponsored player" in the 24 bracket, it's probably a troll. Like SallyG said if they weren't trolling they probably meant funded to play under a certain guild on a reroll, or something like that.

Enchants can be quite expensive as can professions. Twinks can cost 30k g or more without a guild to help. He may mean a sponsoring guild to provide free or low-cost enchants and/or mats?

Thanks for the answers, I thought about that I just didn't understand how that would of made them better than me other than I had to pay for my own stuff.
I guess trolls will be trolls, I'll get used of it. >.<
