it must depend on the server. They're relatively rare, yeah. But I've seen 5 or 6 on darrowmere over the past 10-15 months...and never for more than 100g.

I had one of these bows in my bank for a few months after it dropped in Uldaman farming Revelosh. I put it up for sale after seeing this post and it sold for 800g in less than 2 hrs. I had no idea it was rare or worth anything to be honest.
