We carefully review the prices of our games and services in all currencies on a regular basis, and we occasionally need to make changes based on regional market conditions. Considering this, we’d like to let you know that we’ll soon be adjusting the European prices of some of the optional services available for World of Warcraft.

The new pricing, detailed in the list below, will start on April 5. Subscription prices will not be affected.

These are increases
Pretty bold of them. I think most people figured these services would have decreased to be in the $5 to 10 range by now. I'm wondering if this increase signals a further move towards a f2p/b2p model, where in-game services such as these are the main source of revenue for the game.

My guess it is because of the token exchange. Right now services are 25% off on the NA side of the pond.
As soon as pets/mounts go on sale I will purchase more with the credit I have accumulated with tokens.

It's all about statistics. It's shitty on their end, but they realize a person's addiction to a game can degrade their value of money. If they see that over time the amount of transactions hasn't changed (or is even going up) as they have slowly increased the price, they will continue to increase it until it Stabilizes or declines in profit as opposed to their previous business model.
