EU+US Prestige

How many of you all have been working on Prestige?
The question I have is that I finally maxed out Prestige a couple weeks ago. Prestige 25 and level 50. It states max level reached.
This is the first time before the end of a season that I have reached max Prestige and level. For the others that have done it in the previous seasons is the honor banked or is it just wasted? I am going in the presumption it is wasted honor.

I pvp quite a lot but i'm only 15. Doing random bgs must help a lot. The honor is unfortunately wasted.

I'm only 1 on my main, never really worked on it cuz there isn't really a reward there that feels "worth it", not even that badge on the portrait.
