premaking and then leaving bgs?

Legend
So I've seen this happen a few times in the last couple of weeks on both factions and just wanted to know why:

Whatever faction I'm playing will get into a mostly AP team with notable names from TI. Other team will turn out to have a number of 24s that rock our team. AP quickly realizes this will be a loss and the entire group leaves.

This leaves the remaining few players who aren't AP and then the rest gets quickly filled by random puggers, and we all know that random puggers will not listen to the "do not rez" chantings. And so the game is stretched out to the full time. But if AP just sucked it up and sat there for 2 min not rezzing the bg would end. Am I just missing something as to why this is so illogical?

You'll only see me leave in 2 occasions: A guaranteed GY farm for 25 mins or 6+ Hunters farming mid. Any other reason should not be tolerated and is looked down upon (atleast by me). This is still a game, which is about enjoyment and fun, but if that ain't it, because of the obvious reasons stated above, then I'll quickly leave. Premade or not.

Re: AP premaking and then leaving bgs?

because its ok for them to roll a premade vs a pug and destroy it, then sit in stv and gratz each other on how awesome they are, but if there gonna get destroyed..............

reason i left US f2p.

oh and mialo did draenor EU kick you out or sommit?

Never played on Draenor EU.

W don't mind losing. We actually enjoy it. Its even that bad we started running 5 man premades in AB bc its actually that boring. There is only 1 reason why we play Hunters: The overpopulation and imbalance of Hunters & Paladin @ Alliance side. If we want to counter them, we want players who are decent and know how to play, or atleast listen to our instructions.

No no, I just afk cauz I mad bruh.

Re: AP premaking and then leaving bgs?

So we're not allowed to leave games? If im on my mage and there are so many hunters i cant even get shatters off, ill afk and go on one of my other alts. If this is SUCH a big deal, why dont you leave the 24 hunter gy farms and play on your alt for a game

Re: AP premaking and then leaving bgs?

We wouldnt have to leave games if pugs would take some responsibilty for gearing themselves to the bare minimum standard and learning how to play objectively and as a team.

But no matter what happens, BGs in this bracket are a complete joke and a balancing travesty. Until hunters get nerfed that wont change. Sounds cliche' but the bracket is so terrible.

Re: AP premaking and then leaving bgs?

Attitude has to change. When people tend to win, they MUST go for their GY farm. Pathetic.

Re: AP premaking and then leaving bgs?

People like to farm but don't like to get farmed themselves, I see it all the time. Usually if i see my team getting ready to be farmed for 15+ minutes i might leave or stay if i can just hide

Re: AP premaking and then leaving bgs?

AP quickly realizes this will be a loss and the entire group leaves.

We don't make the decision to leave as a team, which is what you're implying. I've never been in a premade where people left due to 4 or fewer 24s on the opposing side (for wsg). It's also vanishingly rare for a full AP premade bail on a BG for any reason.

The only way we ever bail on a game is when we're running a partial premade (i.e. there are only five of us) and we are getting farmed by a massive number of 24s. When 1-2 of us gets frustrated and leaves of his own accord, there's not a lot of reason for the 3 of us to stay. Nor could a partial premade res-boycott effectively, as you suggest; GY farmers will keep farming as long as there are 3 scrubs resurrecting every cycle.

I would stress that us bailing on any game is a very rare occurrence, because the deserter debuff automatically means an end to our premading group. Overwhelmingly, we stick out even very bad games, and then reassess whether we want to do another afterwards.

I'll be honest, I don't care for the tone of your post or the implications about the character of AP.

This is actually funny. We only lose 1 in 50 games or so with premades. You might have been unlucky or just had too much 24s in that game.

Re: AP premaking and then leaving bgs?

the original post in this thread is the best summary i've seen of the difference in attitude between a noob and a good player

a noob looks at that problem and thinks about how it inconveniences them personally (everyone else can change to accommodate them)

a good player looks at that problem and thinks about how they can personally solve it (re-rolling horde)

you're still playing on alliance at like ~8 months in to F2P. nobody feels sorry for you

your point is?

1) hunters are OP we know this, all low lvl pvp has this problem, not just fp2.

2) ALL brackets have problems with under geared guys joining, up to and including 85, so again not just a f2p problem.

please think before you post.

This is actually funny. We only lose 1 in 50 games or so we do has a premade

yes, yes it is actually funny that to enjoy this bracket you have to premade to steamroll pugs, then when your being steamrolled you get butt hurt and /afk.

this is the reasons i left f2p, you have two choices, be part of the premade, or be rolled by it.

I feel some animosity in this post, let's all try to calm down and relax, take a breather or two

no animosity what so ever, its just, people who act righteous who clearly ain't annoy me.

only this [----] much though <3.

Re: AP premaking and then leaving bgs?

From day one this bracket was shit just because of 24's, hunters and gy farming pricks. The reason why I still play f2p is because of war games and premades. And that's the truth.
