Premades Happening, Theorycraftin Time!

Khaos

Dare to be Optimistic
  • Ok with the obvious rules put into place that most people feel is Fair

    No more than 3 healers
No more than 1 of each type of spec of druid
No more than 5 healing able classes
No more than 2 stealth classes

    What is the Ideal Comp!

    I think

    FC-Warrior
    Healer-Hpally
    Healer-Priest
    Healer-Priest/Rsham
    Monk-BM
    Hunter
    Hunter/Ele Shaman
    Boomkin
    Rogue
    Warlock/Mage

Also if any Premading Guilds want to brag about their Ateam its welcome here I wanna see what people are putting together :)

When LSFTW did the first premades of mop a long time ago I think we ran:

    disc priest

    resto shaman
    hunter
    mage
    mage
    boomy
    boomy/ele sham

Because you were allowed 2 boomkins....

    Boomkin
    Hunter
    Dpriest
    Dpriest
    Rsham
    Rdruid
    Warlock
    Mage
    FC War
    BM Monk

    imo, with your rules ofc...

you have 4 healers when i say max 5 able healers meaning 2 can be off heals

I dont understand? are you saying you need 5 healers in a preamde?

What he means is there is a maximum of 3 healer specced classes allowed, and a maximum of 2 additional hybrid classes (assuming all 3 healer specced class spots are used).

Ediot: oh i see, nvm. my list is still within the Requirements though?

2 disc priests, resto shaman and resto druid is 4 healing specced classes.

didnt read the 3 healer max at the bottom lol.

    Boomkin
    Hunter
    Rshaman
    Dpriest
    Rdruid
    Lock
Lock (Ele perhaps, would be interesting in 5.3)
    Mage
    Monk
    FC war

In my opinion Hpallies are a solid choice over Rdruird in premade enviorment as they have more survival abilities that they can use in bursty moments that would allow them to keep themselves alive and keep the target they are healing alive. If that makes any sense. For a Rdruid to survive they have to stay mobile, with a Warrior FC the mobility is out of the question thus making their main attribute useless. Not to mention most Premades are Mid Fights with alot of bursty situations. A hpally can heal threw alot more damage for one target than a Rdruid can

But a Resto Druid is great for Mid-Fights. Hard for your DPS to die with HoTs and swiftmend laid down.

Resto Druid will top healing charts for sure in a mid fight.

In competitive games with a midfight, I love having Mellunz on my team. He plays a Resto Druid well and I don't die often with him healing mid.

This is why I love theorycrafting solid points and alot of valid arguements.

never seen your ideal comp Ura

Pretty sure Tank specs now take more dmg while holding flag, alot more FC options perhaps! Resto druid would be nice, but with 3 healer limit giving up a healer could be brutal. Ideas ppl, post the thoughts!!1!1

    under these circumstances

    Prot Warr
    Disc Priest
    Resto Sham
    Resto Druid
    Boomkin
    Arc Mage
    Arc Mage
    Destro Lock
    Surv Hunter/Destro Lock
    BM Monk

But then again, the players available to you will have a lot of impact on what comp you run.

The only reason they use Hpal instead of Rdrood is HOJ...

the reason why its not even debatable to use rdruid over hpala is cus u use the 2 druid spots for boomkins cus they have highest total dmg by far
