Premade chances

I just wanted to know what the chances of someone who doesnt have gfathered gear is to premade. As of right now im a BiS druid but that is without gfathered items. So as for any class would any guild allow it? ( not saying i want to join any guild ) just want to see what you guys think.....

If you are good enough you will get a spot. The fact that you are a Druid hurts you more then gear, most of the top guilds play many people missing gf gear.

Balance would probably be your best bet to play in premades

you could lead a guild with no gfd items like kitn that way u have a guaranteed premade spot

My guild is filled with a lot of old school grandfathered players, but I still choose to use players without grandfathered gear over some of them.

In the end, like Augiddin said, if you're good enough you will premade grandfathered gear or not.

Gear < Skill. But the problem is that some people might have gf'ed gear and be equally or slightly less skilled than you, they would be the priority.

If your good enough i say why not. LSFTW used a druid FC for a long while until recently.

premade spots are possible if you do not have grandfathered gear. you should consider waiting for MoP though, as there is no doubt in my mind you will find double druid on any premade team, question is just, what spec.

The only premade roll that is reliant on gfd gear is ur Fc
I would not use a prot war fc without deadskull shield + seal
Also would not use a druid Fc without jutes, seal, tarantula/aquarius belt

Every other roll/class is debatable and skill>gear should come into play
