Possibly coming back into WoW

Recently heard about the f2p option for in game gold, considering trying to get back into WoW.

Wondering what the state of 70s is. I've had Jenzul running my Emerald Dream guild Applied Cryogenics *cough*forever*cough* and I used to be a prominent member of Twisted Nethers and am interested in the state of things with them. Also, battlegrounds. I'm told they queue nightly but only if they're coordinated. How's that working out?

Hey there stranger.

As far as I know, F2P is pretty viable, I've a 100 Paladin alt on a random server dedicated to nothing but farming the 20-24k gold token. You might have some trouble if you don't have that garrison + professions to provide for you.

Battlegrounds to pop, majorly during the weekends, coordinated or not. Not sure about the weekdays, I've been out of twinking for a bit, and only dedicate some weekends to it. Jenzul might be able to give you a more definite answer.

Val!

Iiiiiiiiinteresting... why did you decide to put your gold farm on a random server? Are more populated servers not that good for it? I always thought the economy was pretty good on moonguard.

How's Twisted Nethers been holding up without me?

How's the class balance at 70 in pvp?

My server listing was full on Moon Guard, xP. As far as I know, the cost for the token is shared among all servers. Although they vary between US, EU, RU, KR, etc. But yeah, you kind of want a somewhat populated server if you plan on selling profession item upgrades.

We're all either playing level cap, stopped playing, moved temporarily onto private servers, or still around. Scattered but in contact to keep it short. Besides Void, no idea where that twerp went.

I really don't want to speak about class balance without having a decent grip on it, ( Maybe someone else on here can mention specifics? ) Jenzul and Jaffar are still around, they play on the weekends. Can't play for half of it since Saturday is one of my raid days~

It goes somewhat like this:

Feral >> Unholy DK >>> Assassination Rogue >= Sublety Rogue = Windwalker Monk >> Combat Rogue > Shadow Priest > Marksman/Survival Hunter > Fury Warrior > Frost/Fire Mage > Affliction/Demonology Warlock > Moonkin > Arms Warrior > Elemental Shaman > Ret Paladin = Enhancement Shaman > whatever specs remain.

Or in tiers:

-God Tier-
Feral, Unholy DK

-Top Tier-
Assassination/Sublety Rogue, WW Monk, Fury Warrior, Survival Hunter

-Decent Tier (aka better-than-most-people-think Tier)-
Marksman Hunter, Frost/Fire Mage, Shadow Priest, Elemental/Enhancement Shaman, Ret Paladin,
Affliction/Demonology Warlock, Moonkin, Arms Warrior, Combat Rogue

-Trash Tier (aka you-can't-play-this-even-if-you're-rank1 Tier)
Arcane Mage, Destruction Warlock, Beast Mastery Hunter
