Possible returning player - some questions

Hello Moof.

As much I love seeing old twinks comming back, I honestly don't think you would like it much:(

Lot of burst, Heirlooms on clueless people almost works better than undergeared experienced twinks ;/

The removal of those arena random queues turned into wargames ( wich allow us to to challenge specific teams in arenas or wsg /ab.

Some wierd queue system preventing us from easely queueing with 10 players the same time, so the most premade attempt we had ended in 5 vs 10 or 5vs5 or simply no games :/

What we do got is: Pug wsg, semi preamdes, duels and wargames ( On Draenor)

.. In Better Luck Next Time we got some of the old faces you would know, but they very rarely plays. Most quit or moved to other brackets.

Maybe you should lend an account of a twink m8, or a 10d free trial before reactivating your acc.

Before you worry about someone else dragging the name down, please explain your genius thinking for using SSC?

BiS for flag carrying.

3 resi > 1 stam from dawnblade. this is a PURE "i will not die" set, not a "omfg i need hit rating" or a "i want to be effectively damaging the oposing team" set. if you want to FC the most effectively, you can gain 3 resi from SSC, which scales. stam does not.

i know, dawnblade is "pro breh" because it requires a faction change if your alliance, but as a mage flag carrier, you will be happier FOR FLAG CARRYING w\ FMP / SSC. its not like the agility is directly affecting your stats the wrong way, you're just not used to seeing it on a mage..

Hit pots are a cop out imo, so many people use that as a response to criticisms surrounding hit cap, yet I never see anyone use them. Nvm the fact that not all premades allow them. Certianly you are correct, if you use hit pots then SSK + furbolg would be ideal. However, when talking about best sets you generally want to assume no pots.

ahh, but you see, this set is based solely on the thought of it NOT being a premade, since, lets be fair, who uses a mage for FC'ing (other than repicking) in a premade?

also, i see your point, however, will you disagree, with the fact that the hit potion does not cover your need and more? because its not used is NOT the same thing as it isn't viable.

CC set and FC set are the exact same thing for a mage. My guild only allows bandaids, rum, and HP and mana pots. Just showing why I would consider GSoJ the better option, and the one I would reccomend. Personally, I never advocate hit pots because they are unusable in arena, disallowed in many premades, and most people just never bother using them. I am not telling you personally how to gear. I am, however, expressing my opinion on what should be advocated.

Naw Vincents right. Even if you're FCing, you still need to Hit Cap, and GSoJ and Suppressor's Wand/Wind Rider Wand is the best way to do that.

Considering that the item slots that are used to Hit Cap are, Weapon, Wand, Ring, Boots and Cloak:

- SSK, FMP, Firebelcher, Ello's Band, Spidersilk Boots and Spidersilk Drape = 34 Stam, 7 hit, 3 Resi and 13 Int.

- SSK, FMP, Firebelcher, Ello's Band, Slippers of Unturned Loyalties and Tumultuous Cloak of Stamina = 35 Stam, 7 Hit, 3 Resi and 6 Int.

- GSoJ, Wind Riders Wand, Seal of Argas, Spidersilk Boots and Tumultuous Cloak of Stamina = 33 Stam, 8 Hit, 6 Resi, 39 SP and 15 Int.

2 Stam for 1 Hit, 3 Resi, 39 SP and 9 Int looks pretty good to me. My bad.

Read that please.

tbh rasta, the way those three dudes in this thread are acting towards eachother over a debate about some negligible stat difference is far more repellent than the prospect of having to work around some awkward nerfs
