Unless you got a 85, you gonna be fked (I'm assuming that you don't as you can't fund yourself)
If you don't you gonna have to go and farm herbs to sell on AH - Swiftthislte can go for huge amounts.
Other than that, I suppose you could try and farm gear to transmorph. - On my server most low level gear will go for around 200g per slot.

i have a level 19 and a level 5 on a low pop server. my 19 is fully enchanted and has BOA chest, shoulder, weapon thru DMF and i now have 19000+ gold from fishing
darkmoon faire....fastest way to gold, fishing shipwreck schools at DMF you will obtain stuff to sell on a AH to make serious gold. i have also equipped my players with 22 slot bags because i got enough embersilk cloth one DMF week to get 31 bags made. equipped some and sold others

get the Darkmoon Adventurer's Guide - Item - World of Warcraft, and loot bodies in BGs, for the 3 possible blue items sell and if bored also que for random or specific dungeons to get one of the 4 possible blue items on the auction house or turn in for points at DMF to get BOAs.
start with your 19, then as you get gold buy some bags for other players to fish also.
fishing can be done with level 5's, rather than run around the whole island looking for nodes, have 2-3 players in different areas and switch log as needed. you can out fish 85's on mounts doing that
players can be ripped to level 5 fast....next DMF august 5th....be ready
also use a bank alt to sell stuff on AH, don't try to fish and auction on several players or on players that need to get back to fishing
until DMF start gathering...mine/skin/herb.

Ok so i've got some great ideas on this post and within bgs and heres my plan to make money to fund myself
During DMF ill fish and try to get gold that way,
Whenever its not DMF and im waiting on bg queues im going to skin and herb to raise profs and make cash
I'll do bgs for Honor which i shall use (first boas) then to buy honor goods and sell

Sounds good, but remember to get the Adventure's Journal and loot dead enemy corpses in BG's, you can sell the blue DMF loot for good money.
Also, if you have a nice starting capital, you can try to farm the AH for nice items, maybe twinking items, and buy them if they are underprices, then sell them for more, I know this is a risky bussiness on a low pop realm, but just want to make you aware of this option as well.

using honor to buy goods and then sell them on the auction is a waste of honor.
one DMF and you'll be set
if you don't want to wait, mine/herb/skin till then....fish now in the barrens for deviate fish from the schools, they are still one of the top methods of making gold (cooked.uncooked) since start of WOW and now 8 years later. fish while you are qued for BGs. easy to do whether horde or alliance.
despite what others say, i have heard it all and it's untrue
-you need a 60 to make gold in van-wow
-you need a 70 to make gold in BC
-you need a 80 to make gold in WOTLK
-you need a 85 ....................etc
a 19 twink with 225 mining can mine easily up to mithril, and many times you check AH, you will see copper, tin, silver, gold, iron, steel, mithril, truesilver, along with stone selling for more than pyrite, obsidium, and elementium
my account is still BC capped, where my main twinks are i have 550K gold on one side and 260K gold on the other. account has 3 70's (made in WOTLK btw) and rest various 19+ twinks. i had 200K back in BC when my 2 highest players were 59 twinks. i used the old DMF back then and fishing to make gold then.

I agree with what shanker has said. Darkmoon faire is the best way to farm for gold on a 19 (Edit, and the other methods he has mentioned are excellent). However I wanted to mention ( if someone already hasn't ) that if you do not have BOAS you should either A) scrap that character and reroll on your main's server, or B) xfer your toon. C) roll a dk and farm some honor then xfer those points into justice points and buy boa gear.
Its also important to note that not very many funds happen in the 19 bracket, and they generally only do happen if you A) xfer/reroll, B) Are well known, well liked, and a good player.
There may be a few guilds looking to fund right now, I would look at the recruitment thread.

If your planning on mining, go to Thousand Needles and mine Mithril Ore's, you want be engaged by mobs, but it will take a while to swim around, though if your a druid, it will of course go faster
ps. I made around 700g in one day with mining, I started with 60g and bought Iron Ores, 8g a stack and around 6-7 stacks.. I first smelted them to Iron Bars, which alone sold for like 15g a stack, but then I bought coal, 6-7 stacks as well, and smelted my Iron Bars into Steel Bars, these sold for 30g a stack. That is 21g profit pr stack (- the expenses of coal and putting the bars on AH). They sold rather quickly, and since there is almost always Iron Ores on AH, and very few Steel Bars, I was at last able to buy all the Steel Bars, and put the prices even higher.

If you don't have an 85, make one - the DK idea is the easiest / fastest. Forget 19s for a little while, we'll be there when you get back. With an 85 you can farm the mats a lot easier than buying them, which on my server is such a waste because they're all used to people having hundreds of thousands of gold... I have 5k between all my chars ;P

Since many people have vacation right now, and if you have, you can, with a litle nerdiness, get a lvl 85 in 1-1½ week, and on your way to 85 you will make like 5k on quests, dungeons, profs etc.
