Please explain this to me.

So I got 24 hours of gametime and I decided to use it to buy the missing heirlooms for my character that im going to play as a pure f2p once the gametime runs out.

But I was told by someone that once the gametime runs out and my account is reverted back to starter / veteran status that my enchants and "stuff" will be lowered by 40 levels.
I was very confused by all of this and he didnt really clarify what he actualy ment just something about that I wont have a 8 health enchant on my chest in bg and something else.


So please explain this all to me?

Same with my professions once they reach 100?

I honestly thought it was weird aswell but I want to be entirely sure.

Your professions do get back Starter Edition cap which is 100.

But its not a big issue, considering engineering is a pretty essential profession for a veteran.
Your professions get capped back to 100 but you keep your known recepies.
DO NOT try to make items that require a skill ABOVE 100, or you'll get locked at 100 when you return to P2P
DO NOT do an action that increases your skill level or it will stay at cap 100 when you revert back to P2P.
but i doubt you'll be doing that, just dont worry to much about professions, just snag the engineering items you want or w/e profession you want to do

well the profession thing was on point, but yeah his still mental

dude just dont worry about the professions too much, if your profession involves getting items like engineering then do it before the sub runs out, if your proff is like alchemy then your only going to be able to make pots that require 100 skill or below

No I mean how does that affect once gametime runs out when my exp is locked. Since you cant lock exp with starter

You wont be able to level past 20 locked or not, dont worry
Its like making a new toon on a F2P you wont be able to lvl past 20, because you'll need to upgrade

Locking EXP is a feature Starter accounts can't do. Even if they want to lock their exp at lvl 1 just as an example.

Let me try to explain this super easy

1: I lock my exp at 20! When still having gametime
2: Gametime runs out
3: Can I still play that character after gametime runs out?

yes.

as soon as your account reverts to starter, your xp bar will come back. It just won't ever move even when you do things that would normally give you xp and you'll bg in the xp-off bracket. was pretty counterintuitive when I went through it

as long as you're 20 or under, you'll be able to log on ^^

actually u can lock xp as f2p now, but as f2p after u lock xp u cant queue bgs , arenas etc. basicly f2ps with xp locked (lvl1-19) can duel their arses off

Actually nearly all chants are lowered to level 29 so he had the right idea as at least

Your enchants will all scale to level 29 in a BG.
