Playing to win

I've noticed recently that I've been caring less and less about whether or not I win or lose, to the point where I won't know who's winning at any given point in a bg. This doesn't mean I don't try, of course, I just never care who wins or loses.

Am I alone?

Nah. Definetly not. I find myself playing moreoften than not, just to have fun. I don't tend to care so much anymore with objectives or who is winning/losing as it just makes you seem to lose the point of playing for fun in the first place. Honestly I consider a game to be better if the other team is good and actually offers a challenge, than if we just farm the whole time and just faceroll their entire team into oblivion. So your not alone.

I am starting to care less but i think from now on ill make one cap then just go to certain parts of the map till the alliance grabs flag and then go after them see if they can be smart enough to group up and go for it.

How can you mention "farming" and fun in the same sentence. Maybe if 3/4 of you guys weren't standing in mid or gy circle jerking then you wouldn't lose all the time and could get some fun from winning.

I see what you mean, I'm super -competitive about winning FIGHTS but rarely care about the outcome of the game, I think it's because I always preferred duels/arenas, rather than getting caps etc.

I also find games in which I'm on the losing side (as long as we're not getting farmed) or that're super close are a lot more fun.

It all depends. If I'm doing well I won't focus objectives but if I'm doing poorly I will. I like a challenge.

If you can't provide me with a challenging opposition, I will farm you until you AFK out and are replaced with someone that can.

I think there is a difference between playing the objective cause you are trying to win, and careing less about who's winning.

I take myself as a player who is always plays the objective, i.e. going for efc if I'm on rogue, going for flag, helping in O or protecting the fc if I'm on pally. But recently I don't get bummed if I loose a match, and I don't get excited if I win one, the things that matters now is the quality of the match.

For instance if I loose a match that has been competetive and everyone has played their best, I don't at all feel bad, I'd rather feel good about it.

And if I win a game that has been shit, of course I don't feel happy or good at all.

I'd rather loose a competive game than winning 3-0 in 5min, I don't know if this was what you meant but this is how I feel :)
