Gonna have to agree with this - at least for Fire Mages. My Pyros on average crit for roughly 4k. I have 1403 sp self buffed.

Go arcane. Been crit for 8.8k AB (31,50% dmg reduction). Was in a WSG, hope it was with berserking.

not defending mages, dmg is ridiculous like with most classes.. its just that frost mages have 100% crit when your shattered.

ps not like its exactly hard to play a dk either..



and Meta I wouldn't think so most likely without and in PvE gear with 3-4 stacks of AB debuff, critting 16k on a dummy in my PvE gear and its such an simple spec and tunnel vision that I completely HATE it. sup spam 1 button do 6-8k dps.

Mages, (IMHO) will be rather interesting after the nerf in 4.2, frost will still kick ass if you ask me with the snares and shattered dmg.
