Petrol legs and armor kit

Anyone knows if its possible to put Thick Armor Kit on Petrolspill Leggings? My faction chance depends from these legs, thanks in advance if u can help.

Yeah but the legs are still boe and so higher lvl can put the kit on it. I wanted information not advice.

no, it requires lvl 30 to use, as it says in the description. armor kits dont have a required lvl to benefit from the enchant.



thick armor kit req ilvl 25 and petrolspills are ilvl 29 so im pretty sure it should work. boe stuff shouldnt get soulbound when you put armor kits on them either. i put 40 armor on some haliscan pants in cata and it worked just fine. not 100% sure tho and i wouldnt faction change for what.. +8 armor?

Well i alrdy faction changed, might make a ticket and give it a try.

It is possible. If you have a BoE item that is high enough for the ilvl requirement, a higher level character can enchant it with the armor kit. then you equip it and wah-la; it works.



If you don't believe me, just look up my 39 paladin. BoE leggings with the 40armor enchantment on it; and it works. It requires lvl 40+ to ATTACH it; it requires an ilvl of 25+ to USE it.
