Starting today, players can access a new system that will allow them to recover items that may have sold, destroyed or disenchanted: Automatic Item Restoration. (link for US)
With this new self-service option the recovery of an item or items that were recently deleted or sold to a vendor can be restored to a character immediately when using the ticket submission system on our support site. For any items that were accidentally disenchanted the same method can be used to request a review by Customer Support for restoration.
This restoration option may only be used once every 30 days on active World of Warcraft accounts that are in good standing. As this option has a limited availability and use, we still encourage caution when selling, deleting or disenchanting items.
While Customer Service always strives to help whenever we can, with the introduction of this self-help feature we will no longer be able to assist with these types of requests.

Thread name says it all.
As stated by Blizzard, whenever you need an item restored. You get a fancy email. That generally says something to the affect of...
"Your restoration is complete.... If you're missing anything just make another ticket... You have a limited number of item restorations.... Items with random modifiers will be reset upon arrival in the mail..." -WAIT WHAT!?!??!
Yes... Yes... To those that have not conceived the possibility of this playing a factor... It indeed does...
On my 24... I ran Gnomer about 100ish times. And I got about 18 rings...
I vendered all these rings
Made a BS ticket like 'Whoops, sorry chief, little brother sold the shit. Don't know what to tell ya. Can I have all the rings back?'
After a few hours. I got all the rings back with DIFFERENT Modifiers... I;E ... Of the bear... Of the Eagle... Ext...
For those that have a surplus of useless rings saved up... This is a way to get the rings you need...
For those that haven't been saving your useless rings?... Start saving!
Hope this helps all you fellow 24's out there!
Sense I made this post at about 3 in the morning it was a little bit sloppy, though I felt the need to share it with the community ASAP.
I had a few things to add.
One thing. before you do make a ticket about the random modifiers, I STRONGLY recommend you have a surplus of these rings, as I don't think you will be able to get away with this more than TWO times (AKA, lets say you make a ticket when you have 3 rings in your bags. You vender them, you make a ticket. You get the rings back None of them are what you wanted! You could try again... And you may get the same outcome... I strongly recommend that you wait until you have ATLEAST 10-15 of these rings BEFORE you attempt to get totally new rings.)
Second thing, this trick not only works on the rings, but other twink items too! It's been known that that the Ambassador's bracers are needed... As well as the satchel reward belt, all of the same affects apply above.
I hope this helps everyone in their ventures of cutting down on those nasty gnomer runs, and keeping you all in the battlegrounds where you should be!
If you have anything else productive or constructive to add onto this please feel free to leave a comment below! If you think this is a good post, feel free to give it a thumbs up too!
'Cheers
