Patch 6.2 Cooking and Fishing locked at 100 skill

Yea you read right (unless there's a problem with my game client). We're now only allowed to level cooking and fishing to 100. Bye bye fishing poles, holiday recipes, giant sewer rat...

JUST A LOAD OF MINDFKERY OKAY? I DIDN'T EVEN CARE THAT BLIZZARD PLUGGED THE DK LOOPHOLE ON MOON GUARD ANY MORE.

So it will be harder to fish the sea turtle, I think that's the only thing effected here.

Not really, since you fish sea turtle from pools, which only req 1 skill.

For players that already had them above 100 they are still what they were before.

Maybe it has been a bug all this time and Blizzard just now got around to fixing it. You all should thank them for all those years of not fixing it instead of being angry.
Don't forget, there are some new items to be fished up in DMF too. I am not quite sure how I that will be effected as DMF fish caught is directly correlated to your fishing skill.

Seems its possible to cook, I was able to make the curiously tasty omelet (skills 125).

Alright, so you cannot create any potions once you reached the cap. I can't confirm if this is the same for other professions.

As you can see there is no option to 'create'.
However, you can create anything that is below the level cap.
