Party Sync Gear Set

Hello all,

Does anyone know the intricacies of how party sync works when queueing into lower level brackets? Let me give an example.

My friend is playing in the lvl 35 bracket with a toon kitted out in SOO mythic gear. When I party sync from a level 60 my gear is above levelers but not on par with the SOO gear. If I got my own set of SOO gear on my 60 and wore it in a BG, would I scale better with that gear? I know more enchants would work but wonder how the scaling would work on the gear. Any input is appreciated!

You scale to a template. Items don't matter, it's always the same stats.

Yeah but you can still use heirloom on use trinkets. Also the proc from the heirloom thrash blade works.

If I'm really bored I party sync a DH into the 51-59 bracket. Thrash blade proc does like 5 k dmg total. https://www.wowhead.com/item=133597/infallible-tracking-charm?bonus=0 does about another 30 k dmg total. And of course the heirloom pvp trinket (it works).

Pretty much:
3.6 speed 1hers
Thrash Blade
BoE neck to buff people
DK can use some Runeforge

Back in the day the enchant Black Magic used to work with templates, it might be worth a test.
