Papal Fez any good ?

is this item any good and/or is it worth anything?

i would probably even consider embalmed shroud over papal fez.

A Priest would be well off with Papal Fez, and I guess a Druid wouldn't overlook it.

Embalmed Shroud is very decent for a cloth-head with balanced stats.

It's a good one for spirit users, and the looks are worth it, in my opinion.

papal fez = very rare, and above average good for priests and probably some other casters.



I fell into one for my priest and use it for my int and regen sets, Id put it in the short list of top head items for a priest.



Saying Miners hat of the deep or Eagle lens is better is all good and well...but good luck getting one. Papal fez is in the same rarity range and is extreemly good. Id put it over the regular +healing lens unless you really need the stam. The SP difference isnt nearly as important as some people make it out to be.

you can theorhetically get thousands of gold for it considering its rarity...youd have to look up Eagle/Owl lenss and Miners Hat of the Deep prices and put it a fraction below those (as they are better) but it is certainly to be found nearing those prices (PoD's Bushmasters etc all in that rarity range)



The main trick is finding somebody that is cool with spending on this and not waiting on a motd or lens, and you might have to xfer depending on where you are due to 3.2

truth be told, depending on how twinking goes now after 3.2 you might not be able to get thousands...but it would be worth a shot.

It is NOT worth over a 1000..thats just stupid.. Anyone who needs stats like that will just get embalmed or for stats whitemanes.. I think 300 is the max you will get for that..

its rarity says it IS worth that much, the stats are a lot different than whitemanes first off, and embalmed's stats arent as int heavy. Spirit got nerfed so that did lower papal fez's overall value, but the amount of int mixed with spirit and still some SP, combined with the rarity of this item make it worth that much. If I am trying to maximize int I do not go for embalmed or whitemanes..end of story...the only thing as overall good with that much int is even more rare and the price of stat lenss reflect that.
