Pally intellect?

Adorllin

Legend
ok so i have put about 5 days into my twink Adorllin sadly im on echo isle not a great realm but what can i do... anyway im just a couple rare drops and quest zones from being sufficently twinked out i have both boa chest and shoulders still waitin on the weapon but im wondering if ill need any intellect because as of right now i have 0 anbody have any suggestions i was thinking of getting the healer mace to compensate for that goose egg

I went with the healer mace. Sure you lose out on a little strength, but the intellect and extra spellpower gives you nice self heals. Can't argue with the top end damage either. Pair it with the Lavishly jeweled ring and you have the perfect balance a pally needs. ** This is my personal opinion and my personal preference **

There's no requirement just about finding the amount of mana you feel comfortable with. But remember that for prot/ret mana regen scale bad with int because of Judgements of the Wise.

I wouldn't go for intellect over strength, but the JC neck has some int and str. A couple other items, some of which are no longer available, that also have both. There's also the ring with int and hit to consider if you need hit. Personally, I think the JC neck is better overall. Agility is melee crit only. It doesn't add dodge or armor anymore for ret. You can always use wizard oil too, as well as int to 2H from chanting over +2 damage if you prefer. Intellect adds SP, spell crit, and SP adds damage. Int makes for more effective exo spam too with increased mana pool, crit and damage, which is useful on another paladin as they bubble, or someone with heavy armor, as well as keeping you out of ganking distance of a large mob. Also handy as someone tries to run. Int is good for self heals, as well as if you chuck the occasional heal for someone else.

Overall, int is nice, but it's not really something ret/prot tend to stack.

JC neck is something I'm looking to change in the future myself. As elocon has stated, mana regen is terrible but there's nothing wrong with having a larger mana pool.

@Aradiel - The ring is a solid choice as well. The last dungeon item I cannot grab. I need this to be hit capped =x

@Adorllin - Grab yourself Bracers of the Most Trusted. Grants +3 hit. +1 more stam and a bit more armor value as well.
