Hi

I have a Tauren Prot. Pally and about to get my first heirloom but im not sure what to get.

Chest with crit or dodge? the dodge chest has 3 more sta.

Polished Breastplate of Valor - Item - World of Warcraft

Burnished Breastplate of Might - Item - World of Warcraft

How about weapon?

Mace with sta/int crit/sp or sword with str/sta & parry

Devout Aurastone Hammer - Item - World of Warcraft

Bloodsoaked Skullforge Reaver - Item - World of Warcraft

Im not sure about the shoulders as those will put me below hit-cap.

How about resil? should i worry about that?

Hi!

So, if you wanna be only tank the itens are:

Tank chest: [item]69889[/item]

Tank Weapon: [item]69893[/item]

If you wanna do dps:

Dps chest: [item]48685[/item]

Dps Weapon: [item]42943[/item]

If you like heals:

The [item]42948[/item] is a healers one-handed mace

I hope this help you :)

Okay so here's the deal. So you want your first heirloom. The chest offers the biggest upgrade, which I did not buy yet =/ As prot I feel you need a good balance of armor/strength/and even some intellect for FC healing purposes. Self heals are never a bad thing. As far as the weapon, I chose the caster mace because it boosts my self heals and increased mana pool. It's all preference. Just check out my armory. I can usually take a beating from 5 or so at a time and stay up for a bit (Hoping another heals are on the way) Any other questions, don't hesitate.

I am also a bit unsure about resil myself. The amount of resil the pvp shoulders offers is hardly worth a trade off for the crit, in my opinion. If you decide to go dodge, the satchel offers a belt/cloak with +5 dodge on it as well. Never a bad option. Again, it's all preference.

Thx for your reply Pwnadin

Ill be getting the Aurastone hammer & the crit chest.

I currently have the +5str/+5sta....+10 cloak/belt. ill be going for the crit pieces. Dodge doesnt really seems worth it, it does us no good vs. hunters and rogues allways opens up from behind. Crit rating seems to be the way to go in both defence/offensive situations.

We have pretty much the same gear (still working on the trinkets, lucky hat) but ive gone with Garrosh's Pardon - Item - World of Warcraft instead of your Silverlaine's Family Seal - Item - World of Warcraft.

Im also using the scouts medalion but thinking of swapping for Brilliant Necklace - Item - World of Warcraft , the +6 agi doesnt really do much, i think i rather have +2 str/+2 int/-1 sta

I swapped out some of my gear. I went back to the crit cloak/belt. I finally got Foreman's leggings, just a bit more armor than the ones I've already had. Now i need to level skinning/LW again for the armor kit /wrist. I intend to swap out my neck with yours. I need Lavishly Jeweled Ring. I would use Garrosh's Pardon, but I deleted it by mistake, lawlme. Your gear is looking pretty good though. Keep at it!
