I dont know much about ret or prot, but your holy looks pretty solid. However i would swap out your chest enchant for 100hp and your bracers for 3/3 eagle. I would also consider 5mp5 on bracers, but thats just my personaly preferance and its probably not needed for a pally.

Im not entierly sure about 4/4 eagle boots and lavishly jewled ring, but it looks fine tbh.

I would also advise finishing their herbalism and crit rather than leaving it at 163 or so ;)

Ya thought I changed the herb and skinning to max, oh well, I'm working on it.

Deadskull with +7stam

Seal of Wyrn>Lavishly, if not then its fine

Earthbound Girdle of the Sorcerer (5int 5stam 6 sp mailbelt)>Girdle

3/3 Mail Eagle Bracers /w 15sp> Crystalline

Keep 4 stats on chest

Pristine Lightforge Shoudlers > Mystical Pauldrons

Inherited Insignia> normal Insignia

If your feeling your HP is too low swap out 3/3 eagle bracers for Steel Clasped with 9 stam, if you have BoA you can sacrifice the SP, AND some Savage Trodders with Minor Speed (I prefer this over 4/4 Eagle boots, but most will tell you otherwise) AND Seal of Sylvanas>Lavishly.

If you fancy doing a bit more melee dmg, more of an antiWar-Rog set, switch to:

Chausses of Westfall

Silver-Linked Boots with minor speed

Polished Spaulders of Valor

Deviate Scale Belt

Protectors Band

Seal of Wyrn

Thorbias with 16SP

Armor is bestestz

Firstly I'm horde.

Secondly,

Silver-Linked Boots with minor speed

Polished Spaulders of Valor

Deviate Scale Belt

Protectors Band

Are all in the chardev.

Ok here are my opinions assuming you will be getting all of the PVE cloaks and belts and not faction changing (although faction changing will allow more flexibility in gear choices):

Prot- solid except for the +10stam belt, the +8stam cloak, maybe a second AGM. 7str to gloves is fine but I use 15 agi for the 30 armor (personal pref.) Weapon should be the BOA mace with resil and spellpower to boost your pathetic prot heals a little bit in tight situations (can still keep LS if you want but the trade off for what you have is 15sp 3resil 1mp5 > 1stam)

Healing- Solid also, I love the eagle boots, I don't have them (/jealous). Might consider 6SP mail bracers for a tad more armor and SP and maybe the 8stam ring so you're harder to take down, again I'm assuming you will look into the PVE options for healing although the Girdle of Blind watcher is still pretty good.

Ret- I don't need to comment on this to much it looks spot on for horde gear/hit cap which i know you are passionate about. You might want to look into the Leather BOA chest for 6hit and use the +4hit ring (this puts you at 10hit), but then get the "of the soldier" cloak and belt or even the +10str belt "of str"

The order I think you should obtain gear at first is:

Ret Shoulders- Shoulders are the most visible piece and they scream "HEYLOOKATMEIHASBOA!"

BoA Axe- Best decision you'll make is to get two of these so you don't have to switch enchants all the time

Chest piece- either leather or the plate one you have in the chardev. Can't go wrong with either one but you will have a decision to make about the rest of your gear if you go with one or the other

PROTIP: you can always get the WG mace (prot or heals) or WG prot/healing shoulders with your first round of SKS's, there are no good Ret options from WG.

PROTIP#2: maybe consider bumping the Axe up to the 1 slot because it's always better to get the most expensive items first (most people bust their wad on the cheepest item)

For ret, wouldn't the leather BoA chest + wsg ring instead of plate chest + pearl provide a bigger stat bonus without losing the hit?

Also for your prot, you can get dodge to cloak or even 10 shadow resist over 70 armor, since your wearing mostly mail anyway.

For the healer I would use a pair of Fortified Eagle Bracers with +5mp5, the sorcerer mail belt is also an option over the blindwatcher with 5/5/5 stam, int, sp.

PS were planning to fix your speccs/glyphs in the chardev or do you really just use the same spec for everything?

what level is your main at now anyway?

In the sig, I know I'm really slow working on it atm. By next weekend I should be 80 because I have a 3 day week (Mid terms) and only around 3 hour days at school.

Thanks so much for the advice Gracob I really do apreciate it, I know you're not a fan of hit rating but I'm going to be trying several different set ups to maximaze my dps.

EDIT: I love my current talent set up and glyphs best all around IMO for all 3. If you don't feel the same please let me know.

I mean I think it is a good all around talent build too but, you are really missing out on some big Ret DPS without taking the 15% increase to judgments AND seal damage or the glyph that is just 10% judment damage. I would argue that the glyph you have will give you more time on target (some people refer to this as "closing the gap" which is also what CC shot does for hunters) and thus more dps than the judgment glyph but it's a toss up I think.

you might want to start a trend and go 3/7/0 which takes the best talents from 0/10/0 and 5/5/0. This might suit your play style more because I know you love Gaurdian's Favor. Stoicism isn't noticable because hand of freedom is up a lot and if a shammy is going to be purging your buffs they're just going to spam it anyway so it doesn't matter how long it takes them, you'll prolly have 2-3 people spamming purge or dispel most of the time anyway.

Healing- hands down you are better off with the spell power increase the push back reduction the extra int and the glyph (which is awesome for healing a main target and topping everyone else off too)

If I had to go with only one glyph I would go with Hammer of Justice as well (you make a good point)

I see what you mean, however I just can't seem to give up my old FC spec :(. I'm still FCing most of the time as it is. I might try out the 3/7/0 build and see how it works, honestly I think the glyph is BiS, but I don't have an reason of thinking that considering I havn't tested out the other glyphs. I can't wait for that 1v1 :D

EDIT: I see you now have 10 hit on your paladin, do you like it?

For healing.

Does a lot better than you'd think.

And don't say thankyou to me :(

check out my twink Walkor on Shattered Hand for the best horde retadin set imo. You can replace the cavedweller bracers with +5 str tho. Personally i like the stam. For your fc set, you're missing the +10 stam belt, the +8 cloak and the +9 boots. Other than that its good

You are level 29 bro. ok it's actually Belth and the gear is pretty good assuming you have more sets. That is a lot of leather though. Draftsman, deviate, leather BOA.

Sorry, the other stuff made sense, forgot to thank you. So anyways thankyou.

I don't use the 9 stam boots until after the debuff, after the debuff I put them on with 7 stam enchant.

if you want ret tips hit up oneidwilly or toothpaste; they both hit like mack trucks

yea i meant belth. draftsman is BiS (case closed) and the deviate/leather boa is for the hit.

That's fine if you think draftman are better because I don't feel like arguing the importance of wearing mail armor. Statwise I would prefer draftsman but they both give +10 stats and silver linked will help if you are low on stam I would say personal preference on these, but BIS for stacking AP
