I've been in Twilight Highlands the past new nights in search of the Sea Turtle mount and, as you all know, inevitably draw a surprised response from level 85s questing in the area.

The best was last night, in the Verrell Delta, as I approached an 85 who was clearing out some water elementals near a pool I wanted to fish in.

He stopped, looked at me, and simply /said:

"ur gonna die"

And then went back to killing elementals.

I have to admit... I lol'd.

I'm curious if anyone else has had any funny comments from 85s during their travels.


EDIT: ANNNNNNNDDD..... just got the Turtle!

lol when i saw 85 in halaa (Nagrand) to get the whiskey
they just said
"wtf? lol you noob you arent supposed to be here"
i lol'd as well :)
 
about a week ago some 85 hunter whispered me and said i have been 20 for a long time, i told him that i was a trial and he told me to upgrade, couple of days later he whispered me again and said "still 20 huh?" and i told him its better than paying 15$ a month and he agreed lol

Also, I was fishing once and an 85 was also in the area, not attacking me and all, but also fishing for the turtle, supposedly. I ran past him once right as he got the achievement. 30 secs later he whispered me: Your turtle was delicious. And that's when he left.

Once ran into an 85 in Nagrand, I'd stopped by the main Ally village (forget the name) for the fp. The 85 runs by, stops, does a double take and comes back to stand in front of me. Apparently astounded they started asking me how/why I got all the way out there.

Problem was they were doing it in /say, so of course though I attempted to answer they were unable to hear me. I gave up, threw out a /sorry /giggle and started to leave. The 85 then proceeded to follow me, and in further attempt to communicate started speaking Chinese.

Because of course people who don't answer you must speak Chinese xD

Trials also do strange things. Like the guy who wanted to just fly on my sandstone drake, didn't care where, was like 45 mins if just flying. 400 hp warrior in whites would rather fly the get gear runs.

I once had a pally tank in WC go on and on about my "Ambassador" title and why would anyone want to be a trial and just run the same dungeons over and over. He was obviously an 85 leveling an alt, so I asked how many 85s he had... "4, why?"

lol?

Anyway, he went afk for a bit so a lvl 20 p2p rogue started pulling trash to get to the next boss. This infuriated the tank so much that he dropped group and said "have fun waiting in the queue for another tank". Then another dps dropped as well.

So me, the rogue and another dps killed the next two bosses before another tank popped in to kill the murloc.
 
I was in Goldshire and an 85 said follow me for fun, like 30 minutes later i was in Booty Bay and like WTF am i doing!
 
At the DMF, 85 Worgen:
"YO"
"how the FUCK do you have ambassador?"
"HOW DO YOU HAVE EXALTED CATA REPS?"

me: Grinding my ass off :p

"and alliance vanguard"
"thats impossible"
"what did you do"

me: just grinding =)

"...sigh"

and then he left
 
Me: "Hey guys im a trial farming this dung for a trash green to mog, plz dont need it (prospectors cloak)"
P2P: "If you seriously think we would waste a drop on you youre out of your trial mind"
Me: "OK" *stops attacking boss, was tanking as a rogue*
*whole group dies*

*leave dungeon*

i love how us F2p do more damage then the p2p with chanted BoA's lolol so funny

me vs 45 feral druid with BoA's and some chants in a duel

i won, with like half of my life left

I've been trying for the AGM on my druid, and theres been this 24 feral and his 20 prot helper going for it. Needless to say, frustrating to see a 20 help a 24... but beside the point. The two of them beat me for the trink one time and the 24 came over and started trash-talking, telling me I was a scrub and noob and all that. Said I was 'gay' for 'running away' (i.e. using travel form to avoid feral melee range and then root/dot). Asked me to duel him on my 85. When I said I didn't have an 85 he "lolololol what a scrub" 'd. So I dueled him on my 20 resto druid versus his 24 feral druid.

I won while at full health and 3/4 mana.

Not exactly a 'darndest' thing, but felt like sharing.
P.S. I was kind of a dick to him, but he was a very bad 24...
