Hello all,

Now that it is insanely easy to be BiS it is much easier to twink. Departure Lounge has a lot of twinks on Horde queuing up to face the waves of f2ps. There isn't an active alliance 29 guild to combat them. I would like to start discussion for the alliance to get a guild started to up the competitiveness in BGs.
  • I would like to see who is interested
  • Potential locations.
  • should we just real ID que up?
  • You can transfer realms for only 9$

Hopefully 19s collapse from their pre 6.1 euphoria and <Shartfest> returns sooner than later.

I'm not sure what definition of "long" you're using, but a lot of the core players from DL have been playing this game off and on for literally years under various names on Dmaw

edit- @ The OP, yes alliance needs help, games last night were without a doubt one-sided. I can and should get my rogue geared back up optimally and start queuing for ally.

Also should be added that there was literally no 19 for almost 2 months and now it's back full force....so lots of us that play both brackets (like most of MYT) have been consumed there with little 29 activity after playing pretty much just 29 for the previous 2 months. Will balance out before long I suspect....although we're horde only so that doesn't help alliance.

Alliance used to run plenty of 29's/premades...so if that's changed it's likely due to 19's going again. It wasn't just <shartfest> either, to quote Nastay.
 
19s don't have enough spells, class viability, gear choices for my taste. It's also significantly slower with no mounts. Classes with move speed get too much benefit from that.
 
Classes with move speed bonus now have an even bigger advantage. They lost a smaller % of their speed than the other classes

I'd be interested in having a 29 twink cup in addition to 19....should he a month or two apart. I am going to shortly make a large donation to the 19 one and id make a large one to 29 as well. I love both brackets.

What I cannot do it organize or help administer either tournament....helping grow a guild and put together teams at both (as well as pugging /wargamimg myself to stay sharp and improve ) takes all my time.

If Myrm is willing to administer a separate 29 one id be willing to open up with a donation off the vat. But 19 will definitely be over 5k after my donation and could hit 10k if some others come through on their proposed large donations so unlikely 29 will get near that in my opinion ....but doesn't need to for it to be a great event
 
Unsure. It will be difficult to generate the interest. For the 19s TC, most people playing will put up a modest amount, with big reward. In this case the payout ratio is much less.

Weekly cash tourneys with less teams might be feasible.
 
Discussions that generate increased activity are on topic. Unless you expect ppl to play 29 more (and on alliamce to boot) simply because you asked which isn't particularly realistic...

Lots of us are competitive so stuff like mini tournies and big tournies are draws for us.
