hey yall - can't seem to stay away from this game and i find myself looking to catch up on at least one of my 20s, and i'm not quite sure how to start.

been away for like a year, just resubbed for a month and i have a question about chromie time. i searched and read through some of the wonderful guides that chops and cignus have put together and i have a question - can i just queue for the dungeons i need through the group finder after changing to the appropriate timeline, or do i need to form a group or get someone to run me? is it efficient to do random dungeons?

depends how high your standards are and how much 28 greens youre willing to farm but yes its very possible.

A month is plenty, you may even find yourself with enough time left over to gear another couple toons.

glad to see you still kicking around turns out i still have a mostly geared shaman in TF and a hunter that needs less work than the one i'm working on, so maybe the grind won't be too awful

speaking of, anyone on bleeding hollow reading this and got anything for sale for not ridiculous amounts of gold? im probably gonna buy a token, but 250k for a ring rubs me all wrong

Just started my twink yesterday hit level 20 today in Bleeding Hallow official XPOFF now but it's under my sub account and q times are long now and never manage to get on Bg. Sounds like I need to create another account and transfer it so I don't lock out my 60s.

I got both my socketed fireflash rings for 50-60 k each on bleeding hollow because no one wants haste/crit. But yeah if you want to stack mastery then RIP.

The only way to get queues is to have exp turned ON and your sub expired (veteran account) or be pure f2p on a trial account.

Random dungeons are pretty efficient if you arent queueing as dps. There are dungeons that 20s can enter but cannot join queue for, those are the ones you would need to form a group for. Having a higher lvl toon run you uses legacy loot rules, I generally only do that when I need something that wont drop for my class/spec regularly.

Dont forget to unlock your EXP at the end of your subscription or you wont be able to BG. 20 twinks play in the exp ON bracket. This is the most common thing everyone forgets at the end of their sub.

i recommend personal loot for bosses with huuuge loot tables, legacy loot for bosses w/ fewer potential drops.
there's 28farming communities, maybe if you get friendly w/ someone they might give ya a discount off ah.
since yer on bh, if yer in stuck at graveyard mebbe u can catch me when i'm on (doin my 50s more lately) n i can help hook ya up w something craftable.
btw, didn't you hear: bracket's dead--hunters killed it. =s

Why not take the opportunity to learn something new then? (that isn't absolute cancer) Hunter is even more broken now than in cata when I remember you playing hunter in 19s. There are so many viable classes and specs now.

i also play rogue, mage and shaman but the hunter was the furthest along on the gearing process. i got a month, ill probably get to one of those next <3

No idea how hunter “mains” can even enjoy the class. I play my BM with no ranged weapon from time to time and it’s more than viable. The class is not just broken it’s completely incomprehensible in the current form for the bracket.

Shout again to Icehawk for refusing to play his hunter when it’s obviously apart of his soul.

If you want to play hunter then just own it, don’t pretend you have some right not to be labeled as “just another scumbag hunter” because there is more than enough of you to make friends.

Thanks Chey. I’m a Hunter through and through, but I haven’t got the stomach to play one this X-Pac. There isn’t anything fun about instantly nuking people, and even in the open world literally 1-shorting most mobs.
I really am hoping the balance returns in DF.

@Apnea its fine if u want to gear a Hunter, but I’d strongly suggest u do another toon in the event u see what it’s like and aren’t able to stomach it either. It’s your decision in the end, but we have a Hunter plague issue at the moment. Quite often bg’s will be a sea of Hunters.

I’ve mained Hunters since I started WoW in 2010, at one point having 3 x end game Hunters to play each spec, but SL’s has broken my will to play them in our wonderful bracket.
