This was actually a bit popular in the "new user" section for a bit.
Please add a favorite "saying".
I shall start.

Many calculations lead to victory, and few calculations lead to defeat.

So recreating the same thread in another subforum... Whats the point lol

I guess you do not have a "saying". I will help you out, grasshopper.
Plan for what is difficult while it is easy, do what is great while it is small.

I just dont see the point recreating a thread that alredy exists in a sub-forum that has nothing to do with this.

I shall help you again grasshopper.

One does not jump a chasm in two leaps. Just as one does not eat a whole meal in one bite.

BTW, I just made that one up...

That's too relative, a meal to a child might be eaten in a bite by a grown man. A "chasm" by definition may only be 2 feet wide.

Think about it? You would never jump an open distance, a chasm for instance, with two leaps. On your first leap you would be jumping right into it.
A meal for a child would not be eaten in one bite. A mouthful perhaps, one bite no.
The jist of it is you can do some large projects in one fail swoop, yet even some small projects have to be done a bit at a time.
You can't judge how long it will take to do something simply by its intial scope.

You're suggesting all chasm's are wide enough for someone to not be able to jump, that is incorrect. An infant is considered a child, a true mouthful for a grown adult would easily be more than the average meal of a newborn.

Your logic is flawed... points for effort though.

Your arguing with a guy on the internet about his metaphors.
Your life is flawed
