old exploit re-visited

Yep, but if it is revealed everyone get ready for a cap and than spending the last 15 mins of the game trying to figure out how to get up there.

The less amount of people know the better because as soon as it starts circulating it is going to be abused way too much.
 
tried this on my ud mage couldn't work it, how ever in trying I found a way to get on to the "ring" thingie next to it that lets you drop down to either side - tho without feather fall I think that would be a tad painful ^^



anyway I think getting onto the log depends on your char model's hitbox - so it could be a belf only move.. which places it firmly in the realm of exploits, so dont :p

Ice tried it on undead it works.
 
I do believe this is hotfixed, there appears to be an invisible ceiling at the place where you start. Either that or my draenei is too fat, anyway it's still possible it's just even more niggly now.

I do believe dranei are too fat but it can still be done on other character models



Im talking about male dranei.

Nevermind, draenei are too fat but there is another simple way that they can still do this.

This isn't the first time this exploit has been used, in fact in the past Blizzard has hot fixed this particular area of the map and the ability to get on the logs. The problem is that now there is another way to get up there that is being used.



After having some discussions with members of the community, I've decided to take the next step and contact Blizzard using the video as an example of the exploit. With any luck they will view it and bring about a quick solution to the problem. I'm also going to call them later today and see if I can't get someone on the phone.



If you agree that this is a problem and are interested in helping please bump the following thread on the Blizzard CUSTOMER SERVICE FORUM as much as you can so we can get their attention on this.
