Old 19 Rogue from Vanilla. What do?

I've got this old ass rogue sitting on my account: Atherburst @ Windrunner - Community - World of Warcraft

The Defias Chest and Corporal title are pretty sweet.

If I wanted to update this guy what would be the best course of action?

I was thinking just going full Defias set grabbing a Seal of Argas, race changing to Goblin for Thrall''s Gift, then grabbing a second seal.

Do I need a second SF? Is assassin's blade still good?

Fished for over a year for that stupid lucky fishing hat and never got it :<

I'll still have all the old gear so why not just upgrade him?
 
Going full defias set is prob your best bet unless you want to pay for/farm a gloomshroud

Sad thing about the fishing hat is......I see current twinks complaining after 40 minutes on their first try WTF THIS HAT WON'T EVER DROP and then the end up getting it first day (because blizzard nerfed it along with everything else they nerfed to make this game super EZ mode) and then think they put in work....without realizing what it really means that those of us with it generally went MONTHS to get it of doing 2 hours, every single sunday, with having to have your main parked there to deal with trash....and then there's guys like you that go a year and don't get.

I have on two toons and that's like 2 weeks of my life I'll never get back. And I have a 36 health libram on each for my trouble. Wouldn't trade that for anything though. ;)

I still have a +100 HP libram in my inventory on that toon that was meant for that hat.

I was on week 36 of fishing and some kid that had just dinged 19 decided to try fishing for the hat and got it on his 23rd cast or some bullshit like that. RNG is a bitch

Absolutely update this! You won't be able to get Thrall's Gift as you need to start as a Goblin to actually get the item, but luckily you've got a nice pair of Forest Leather Bracers which are now bis again! (2nd bis to TG :p). Chant them with Greater Agility and should be good. Double Argas for sure, and yes you will need a second Fang for bis. They're relatively easy to farm nowadays and cheap if you prefer that route anyway. Ele force on both.
