Seriously, this game is perfect, at the age of 6 I started and I actually achieved to complete the game. 11 years or so after I'm still playing the same game, but it's extremely more complicated and tons harder. There's not a lot of game that young players can play and have fun while older players have a challenge with it.

it might just be because i dont have the desire to put in all those hours into leveling something from 5-100 on my own. i've also watched youtube clips of people doing those matches and they're like top ranked. it's absolutely ridiculous. i've also been playing pokemon games for about 10 years now (damn it's been a while) but i never got into the IV/EV crap. most of the time i "beat" the game and then just tried to complete a pokedex, no matter how stupid the reward was. thinking about it now, i may try that with my yellow version i have in the drawer next to me.

Well yeah, No need to do any EV/IV things to beat the game hehe. Also there's thousands of thing you can do on this game, like WoW and Twink. Alternative gaming is possible on pokemon and in multiple way. Some focus on getting a full pokedex, while some are Shinies farmer, some likes to do Battle tower and some other just enjoy beating the elite four over and over again. ( 179 times Completed Elite four on my blue xD)
 
The thing about EV/Iv training is once you have started it gets a lot easier as you do it, and once you know all the best spots to do it, and hacking in money to buy all the protiens and stuff you'll ever need to make it even easier.
 
Battle tower wit cool combos and ir tournaments is best thing wit pokemon. Better pvp balance thene world of wow. fun pvp and good pve is beste!
 
God damnit, just beat emerald with only swampert, went to the sky pillar to catch rayquaza, almost gave myself whiplash from slamming my neck backwords every time I messed up riding over the tiles and when I get up there turns out I only have 4 ultraballs.

Hahaha I'm trying to get Shiny Rayquaza with Soft Reset, but Always get piss so I leave and I have to redo the whole place all the time >.----
 
Ok! Time for me to tell which games I have!



I started out with pokemon Yellow!

Then I stole a Gameboy advanced and pokemon Ruby from the big brother of some dude in my old class.

Then I bought Pokemon LeafGreen and FireRed (I wanted arcenine on my leaf green)

Then I bought Pokemon Platinum and Diamond and 2x DS's

THEN I BOUGHT POKEMON HEARTGOLD :):):)



Only pokemon I've fully EV trained, is a Cursewert(Swampert)

Swampert is such a solid pokemon too >...< I'm starting back on my Gold, So funny with Mewtwo, Mew (Glitch Legit from First GEN) Articuno, Moltres, Zapdos, Venusaur, Blastoise, Feraligator and LEWLEWLEWL Sunkern Level 100.
 
I have HoHo on gold haha, I had a bunch of shit i dont remember haha i was like 8, but my fav pokemon is magmar :p

I .. understand... nothing... - then again I only played Blue wayyy back when I was like 10 :(

(I literally read this entire thread - and the only thing I could make sense of was Antisocials last post about Psyduck(I know that one!) - That's when you know you're in a thread that makes no sense to you ;P)
