I thought that maybe I could delete it, faction, do all horde quests, come back- and then try and restore it?

restorations only work on green-epic items i believe. So it's risky if you want to see if a GM can ensure its restoration.

yeah that was a post i didn't mean to send after i figured that out. I made a reply to tonkks and for some reason it posted that previous reply as well (that I didn't send), despite it not showing up in text box. It's irritating and has happened before.

It was at that point I pretty much knew soothsayer's was not going to proc epic...good for data I guess.

To not get any upgrades at all or to get blues every second turn in.

took me 53 tries to get an epic soothsayer, had it down to 9 mins. havent had an upgrade since, 3 zones down. i hate rng. and blizz for making me do this

I didn't get it on my "main" hunter tho… that's one I was using to farm and whatnot. Figured what the hell.

I turned in 2 quests today on my hunter.. the one for Hand of Argus Crossfire and the other for Field Tested Spear. Neither upgraded.. I hate everything.

I feel like i'm happier with sparkproof, now that I got just one. It just feels better for its slot than soothsayers is...
