Offical vanilla wow servers...good or bad?

I'm sure you've all seen atleast one or many people crying how they miss the golden days of world of warcraft. I can't say i miss it because i started playing back in burning crusade, but i must say it looks good. Onto the thread. People keep commenting on youtube or on the wow offical website asking blizzard making special servers dedicated to the golden days of world of warcraft. To me it would be a great idea but for some it seems that wow needs to move on, and just reliving your memories is fun but you'll get bored after a while. what do you guys think of this matter? would it be a good idea to bring in special server devoted to vanilla wow or would it be a bad idea?

Without doubt i would like them to make official vanilla and tbc servers. I miss both expansions alot. If i could, i would turn back the time to get back to whats used to be enjoying. Wotlk was okey but cataclysm catastrophic.

Vanilla was ok... but I agree that TBC was the golden age. Early WotLK wasn't too bad, but it was really about a half-year after x-realm bgs came out that things really picked up. That said, I've been playing a WotLK private server, and I have to say, if Blizzard put together, say, a half-dozen servers with patch 3.1 or so active, I would probably resubscribe and abandon my private server account.
