NWL Season Two

2nd this. nothing against pizza i just dont think his style of casting is as good as other people who have casted in the past. focuses too much time talking about how he feels about whats going on

Although pizza might interject his opinion on a situation its not a "bad" thing. I get where you guys are coming from but for the people that are watching the stream, if they listen to his opinions they will learn a ton. I rewatched them last night and there was a moment where i was going for a kill on EFC with stack but then i tried to grab flag to stop cap, when i should of just killed. Like that was a misplay by me and by giving his opinion other people might pickup that tip.

Like i love Pitterpatter and how he commentates, and I love how Pizza teaches while the games are going on. I think they do a great job!

I like how the season goes by points, (like footy!) but I think it should go as a series, and the outcome of the series itself should be dictated by GAMES WON, like any series has always been. Like a best of 3 or 5, and the winning team gets 3 points, loser gets 1. I don't like how it is right now AT ALL to be completely honest. Nonetheless, I think the NWL has shown a lot of potential, it has become more than I thought it would and can get even better, well done Conq. But I must say as a player and Guild leader; not winning a 3 game series despite winning the first two games seems really backwards and it's kind of a huge bummer. I'd really like to push for the point system to be kept, but it needs to be changed. Who wins and loses games should matter directly.

Also, I see some talk about other BG's. My guild will ONLY compete in WSG.

I second this. Wsg is the name of the game.

Conq Laurenti Saxxon and I had a long discussion about this part of the point system, look for slight changes to be made going into the second season to address "tie" games.

Now to be completely fair, as I told Conq, I really like the idea of the point system and having teams actually play out the three games, as the NWL to this point has been the sole avenue for premades on US. The more games the better, the NWL is an opportunity for teams and players to test the waters in class compositions, strats, personnel etc..

I know there are people out there including myself that had no idea about the scoring system until their team actually played several matches, and to be completely honest at this stage I could care less about the points I'm just looking to play, but with that being said, it is completely on the team leaders and relaying the scoring system to their guild, the information was public and available for everyone to see prior to any matches being played. So yes guilty is charged on myself as well, but it is what it is for this current season and if people had a problem with the scoring it could have been addressed prior to the season starting.

Anyways for me it is just to play, have enjoyed all the matches so far, and on a final note... UGGTW is looking for premades outside the NWL, give us games!!!

Hunnybuns19 I'm with you on that, I wasn't worried with how the points ended up going, I just wasn't aware. So yea that is on me as well. We use the NWL just for the sake of getting games and keeping people around as well. I do however think it needs to be changed for Season 2..

At this point were looking at NHS, UGGTW1, UGGTW2, WFS, STARTER, OHKs, and Ele Dream for the second season, 8 feels like the golden number to me at this point but we'll see if we can pick up one more eh?

Signups will start next week and will be open until November 13th

The first season will end next weekend and we will have a months intermission for planning.

I just realized this is Friday the 13th, not superstitious but I've always enjoyed tempting fate ^.^ I wonder if this superstition exists in Europe?

Been considering moving to a five game series instead of three, thoughts?

Five is a bit much for normal league play. The games usually finish quickly and smoothly at three, if you step to five you risk it taking "to long" for some.
