Part-time lurker here. I've read many things that excite me about BFA, mostly gear mattering again so I can take these stupid rocks off, however I have not been able to keep up with all of the ptr findings and it seems like everything is scattered currently in 12309127 different threads.


Is there anything myself or others need to know before tomorrows patch day? Please exclude things such as ability changes for people who want to reroll fotm.

I've asked this about 20 times and everybody just has a different set of "facts" they think they know. Just wait a week and somebody will post a "Best in Slot" thread for BFA and you can just go by that. Asking now is just going to get you a bunch of misleading info. If it truly is just stats and all the kids with warforged gear just have 1000k extra hp, it will just be a joke regardless. Just wait and see.

Basically:
- Templates gone, so gear matters
- Enchants work again
- Stat squish (no idea how this will affect twinks)
- Low levels can now get to profession level 300, which seems an intended change. Engineering bombs rejoice!
- Fishing ranks will have level requirements, so if you want the raft on your twink, make sure to get at least level 525 fishing today. You can buy the raft later since it’ll be acc-wide.

Can’t think of other main changes, but these were the first things I came up with

Seems everyone forgetting to tell you to be ready to get ya northrend engineering up as it's currently bugged and has no level requirement.... Seems like it will stay for the patch
