I guess I will never understand the attachment people have for there gear, lol.

To me the game isn't about killing bosses for new gear, its about getting gear so you can kill new bosses. Getting gear is easy, progression isn't, I enjoy the chalenge. If you only play endgame for getting new gear I can imagine it wouldn't be very fun. ;p
