Guna post it here, because i think 19s is one of the most active brackets.

im not sure if this was a thing or not but my brain is telling me we used to be able to get Northrend Engineering on low level twinks.

is that a thing? or was it after the whole everything scales in retail?

Wasn't this the BFA prepatch? About a decade later than WotLK.

iirc you could max gathering profs in an early patch of wotlk but it was later nerfed, I don't remember crafting profs.
I clearly remember grinding mining/skinning on my 19 to max the stam/crit bonuses and I left after Cata, so it was well before BFA

I remember at one point there was a bug that a lower level of one of the gathering professions gave you like 200 stam or something. Much more stam than actually maxing it to 450

225 mining gave 70 stam instead of 70hp.

No you can’t get max crafting professions. As said previously in early patch wotlk (and Vanilla/TBC) you could get max gathering professions but once they released the gathering abilities (use/passive) they hot fixed those after 1 month and did put a lvl requirement on the abilities + you couldn’t go past 225 (require lvl 20). However a bug apppeared like @Purj said.

However today on Classic Wotlk the lvl required on the prof abilities don’t work - so if you managed to get 375 before pre patch you have a higher rank than anyone else - it’s a bug and we hope it will be fixed, but yeah some have a slightly advantage over you, for now

what is lowest level can you get 150 skinning/mining/herbing on?

150? either 5 or 10. it's 10 for 225, 25 for 300, 40 for 375 and 55 for 450.

In pre patch I believe you could level mining / skinning up either 375 or 300 so that you got either Toughness (rank 5) or Master of Anatomy (rank 5) . The tool tip shows it gives you stats as it's rank 3 but if you got prof-level up before pre patch the stats are more like Rank 5 I believe (could be rank 4). This is no longer obtainable from what I've heard and if blizz decides to fix it they would have to remove their skill and level it up to 225 for it to give stats again.
