  • I just start F2P and found that this forum is awesome BUT,
how do you get the equipment from Blackfathom, or the stockade?
If you join as group who got the loot?
Where is the addon for chatting? Is it usefull?
Sorry for misspelling and I already know how to join the chat room just not sure where the add on is.

    Thank you.

When you join, you have to just run the dungeon's until the items drop, There are useful gear guides and player's armories you can look at to get the best gear, and WoWhead.com Can tell you where to get them and how to get it.

http://twinkinfo.com/f2p-twinking/21104-yasueh-s-macros-addons-f2p.html You can download the addon from here. it is very useful, as there are restrictions for F2P twinking which can be found here http://twinkinfo.com/f2p-twinking/20584-free-play-20-twinking-you.html.

A good place for a new comer is Aerie Peak There many people to help you out and you can start there until you get annoyed. The thread can be found here http://twinkinfo.com/f2p-twinking/22781-how-join-aerie-peak-f2p-community-start-here.html

I understand that, but I dont think you can solo stokade cant you? or should I do BG first until got stronger weapon then do stokade after?

You need to q for blackfathom and stockades seperately, then go from there, gearing up is easy, it can take from a couple of hours to a couple of days depending on how much you play, make sure you make the right choices regarding quest rewards though

I usually doing random, thats why never see blackfathom and stokade lol
Any better way of getting Honor points other than Battle Ground?

Battlegrounds are the only way to earn honor points. If you're asking if there's another way to acquire heirloom items, there is. Participating in the Darkmoon Faire and acquiring enough tickets will allow you to purchase heirloom items. 2-handed weapons cost 160 tickets apiece, trinkets cost 130 tickets apiece, and 1-handed weapons & armor cost 110 tickets apiece. IIRC, the maximum number of tickets you can earn in 1 week as F2P (by getting 2 main professions to 75, doing the quests for each one, dropping those 2 professions, learning 2 others to 75, and doing the quests for those until all quests are done) is somewhere around 160 tickets. If you don't have the time/patience to level/drop/relearn professions, then 127 tickets is the max on your first time to the Faire, 122 each time after.

If you are worried about being under-geared for Stockades/BFD, there are several dungeon quest rewards/drops and world quest rewards that are BiS that you can pretty easily acquire before needing to go in or grind honor. But you don't necessarily need to be BiS to go in. You will want to queue as damage anyway and, as long as you don't aggro mobs by running too far ahead, you should be fine. Why not tank? As a level 20 tank in a dungeon with level 23 (and higher) mobs, you will be on the receiving end of many crushing blows and may stress the healer. You will also have a much higher chance to miss and missing your threat-generating abilities will make you a much less effective (and probably not well liked) tank. As a healer, there's probably a 50-50 chance to do well. If you have a decently high mana pool and the tank is good at holding aggro and doesn't take a lot of damage, it can be an easy run.

Also, I would suggest not going into battlegrounds until you have near 1,000 hp. Why? Because you will probably be insta-gibbed if you don't and I wouldn't think that would be a lot of fun for you. Plus, it will be a lot of honor grinding for heirlooms. However, the neck, ring, and trinket pieces don't cost a lot of honor if you want to get a taste of BGs before you're done with the gear grind.

If a F2P can heal, then queueing as a healer is by far the easiest way to get through those dungeons. I sleepwalk through BFD and Stockades when the tank knows not to aggro all 8 mobs in that one particular room.

In my experience, nearly every player that has the ability to queue as a tank does. Because of that, bad tanks are a dime a dozen and actual good tanks are something of a rarity. On top of that, I have no idea how well geared the OP is (or isn't). If the OP isn't at least halfway geared up, it's going to be very difficult. Queueing as damage is easiest as you are only responsible for yourself; as long as you perform like you're supposed to and mind the fact that you have a higher aggro radius than normal, being undergeared is not a problem. Unfortunately, damage suffers the longest queue times. As a healer, you are half responsible for the success of the run. If you aren't geared well enough to be able to keep the tank alive (or to deal with situations caused by having a bad tank), there's a big problem. What I was trying to imply in my earlier post is that queueing as damage will be the easiest, but queueing as a healer can be done and, if you are capable of doing it, you should as the queue time will be much shorter.

    Great info,
I am creating Rogue so those 2 dungeons should be no problem. 1 more question for now:
Can you still get justice point, and how to get it?

    Thanks.

You trade 375 honor points for 250 justice points at the pvp vendor located in either Stormwind or Orgrimmar.

Honor points are gained via Battlegrounds. Watch for BG weekend events (on your event calendar) - Warsong and Arathi weekends are sa-weet for grinding out honor to purchase Justice Points.

    Great info,
so far I got almost 1K honor point.
Anyway, I check SW for best dagger, scarlet something, It has better stat on F2P armory, when I roll over the weapon it does not look that strong. Why is that?
