The Stockade (lvl 22-25)

Gnomeregan (lvl 26-29)
Scarlet Monestary (lvl 31-34)
*Can also be found outside of dungeons

You could include Tangy Clam-meat (Clams galore in the watery parts), Slimy Murloc Scales , the Altar Buff near that Murloc Boss and the teleport to Darnasuss at the end of the Instance for BFD but I think you got the important ones covered.

And the Dungeons which drop Healing Potions also drop the various Mana Potions as well.

SFK is by the way notable in that it +/- always spawns a couple of Chests possibly containing recipes and Crafting mats, often locked. Groups tend to rush past them and leave the Dungeon ASAP after they've killed Arugal Mark II so it can pay off to stick around after the 'loom-crowd has left.

Also, since we havent seen a standard scope drop in DM, i think it's fair to drop it from that list and leave it on the Gnomer list

Include Patterns aswell ?

d'oh! thanks. forgot to delete the DM scope after Lofi's info from the other day.

the boots and chest just fall under 'gear drops'.

i don't think there's any recipes/patterns that are dungeon specific drops (or increased drop rates).

As far as I know, the 'punch-boxes' are still in Gnomergean (and hence their Patterns for Engineers), same with the Pet Recipes from Thermaplugg. However, they're all above 115 Engineering if memory serves right.

None of the recipes are dungeon zone specific, but they do have a higher drop rate. Both the squirrel box schematic and swiftness potion recipe have a better than average chance to drop in the lower level dungeons. http://www.wowhead.com/item=1974/mindthrust-bracers are dungeon zone specific to SFK and BiS. Yes, I have seen a couple F2P with them. DW SF might be BiS for max agility hunters too. No, I've never seen any F2Ps DW those.

added, but don't know if i agree with it. looking at wowhead drop rates, they're the same. I think its more of a case of non-stop killing for 30 minutes (thus giving more opportunities to hit the RNG), than it is a case of being in a place with a higher drop rate.

increased chance of getting a recipe to drop? sure.

increased drop rate for the recipe? not so sure.

I'm only basing that on my own experience. Kill 100 instance mobs and kill 100 outdoor mobs of similar level and I've noticed many more greens drop in the instance. Not to mention the chests that are only in these instances that have a chance at the recipes. Swiftness seems to have around 0.07% chance to drop, but if you sort them by number of drops you'll see the most common are in instances. The highest percentage is 1.4% but from only 4 drops? That's statistically irrelevant.

updated the list again to add more Darkmoon drops. The list tries to answer the question "I feel like running a dungeon...hmm, which will it be today?" type of question in my head. I added back some world-drop items due to the arguments earlier in the thread..especially when you consider they drop in some dungeons, but not others (e.g. the agility recipe, which only drops in 3 of the 8 dungeons). i'm still leaving general gear drops out of the list as I wouldn't be able to keep the list manageable, especially once you consider Transmorging.

Note that the Darkmoon drops aren't complete.
