EU+US No Legendarys in PVP

I’m starting to get close to the point where I’m going to stop using legendarys in PvP.

With no sign of leech DRing under 25%. (Which is close to max for classes that don’t have base leech before gearing, 2hand classes being exception they can get leech weapon), I’ve decided 240+ pieces with leech are far more useful than say a 265 without leech. This includes legendarys because they are just stack sticks without 3rd stat avail (again, another exception is DKs I think? They have a legendary with leech I’m pretty sure)

—TLDR—, I play an arcane mage. Leech is valuable to have on every slot avail, even more than Legos. This might not be the case for classing with self heals, but if your dps w/o heals, I would look into this.

Legendaries are an easy source of stats for those without access to mythic drops. That's the most of it.

I generally grab pants regardless of the legendary bonus for iPvP on all classes.
 
That's a solid move seeing as legs/helm/chest give the highest stats per armor piece. An automatic 265 will net you a solid primary stat gain. Also, some rings give significantly more stats than others, and crafted legendaries give 3 sockets.
 
This is true but you need really good rng to get full leech gear. Aslo is pantheon viable in other content than just antorus because ppl used it in antorus mostly because of the group effect.

Eventually we can do full 110 twink mythic Ant once enough people have some mix of heroic/mythic pieces because everyone and their mama has panth trinks.

As far as getting full leech set, it’s not as difficult as you might think. Bring plenty of your armor type 120s to heroic and mythic ant weekly and if they get a drop ask If you can have. 9 times out of 10 they will give it to you.

I’m only missing belt, bracers, and another trinket and ill be fully leech in all slots, and we are only a few months into BFA

You have much, much better luck than I do. Most people I politely ask for gear don't even respond. The ones that do usually only give up the gear if it's a ring/relic/trinket since they only want the xmog. I've had some 120s refuse to give rings/trinkets because they want the gold. Gee, thanks!

Holy fuck, I’d be so pissed. Try offering pets for the piece. Say after raid you can log into their realm and give them pet. You have up to two hours after drop im pretty sure
 
Yeah, every time I’m doing M Ant with NorCal, people seem to refuse to give him gear. Then i’ll Ask for it and I get it and give it to him hahaha. Seems like being RL makes a difference

Kill the rare in Stormsomg daily. Check posts in the last weeks to see what I’m talking about. Farmable chance on leech ring. That’s a great start.

Do heroic/mythic ant weekly being sure to invite same armour types/ same class as you so you can ask them for leech drops if they get them

Lastly, check your AH. Titanforged TOS boes and heroic + ant boes can proc leech and good fillers for the pieces you don’t have. Expect about 30% leech with all 10 slots.
 
big leech is the dream

used to play on a custom private server in BC that had life on hit gems. rogues were nutty

never could stack enough leech to make it feel similar, until now! good find

50% non demon hunters in legion with excellent IL leech boes and WF for the rest. Seems like 30% might be max now though. But ye, vey exciting stuff. Bgs viable now as well.
 
Yeah yet to see/get a single leech drop from antorus. Been checking for BoE as well and it's pretty damn rare, or they get bought up quick. For example, checked 10 med+ servers today and only one of them had a leech item (215 plate boots). It will be a long time before I have to consider giving up legendaries lol

Wasn't able to find your post about the rare but do you know if there is a horde one to farm?

It’s the only rare that he come to light that acts like this. However should still be able to get kill on horde.

Its hard as hell for some classes to kill a skull, is his point.

edit- and everything is skulls to even get there.
