Nifflevars on rogue?

    • I've been thinking of lvling my rogue to 71 for Nifflevars(For MH atleast) since I only tend to play BGs. Has anyone actually tried this? I could imagine hemo and ambush doing quite interesting damage.



    Any thoughts?

    I couldn't care less if people are then looking down on me. Though it might be hard when they're lying lifeless on the ground.
     
    I don't know anything about rogues, but wouldn't a nifflevar on OH be better if you're sub?
     
    Well not really, off-hand weapon serves merely for poison procs only. The damage doesn't matter, actually it'd be better to play with the dagger that drops from Karazhan.
     
    a while ago i played around with a rogue using [font=trajan, tahoma, arial, verdana, tahoma, sans-serif] Nifflevars x2 . It worked really well using CS as opener vs non casters then followed by KS then the target was dead. i still think u end up losing burst since u are not using daggers And u will regret lvling aswell

    I don't know much about the rogues with niffle. But I was wondering if anyone knows if you can level archaeology on a 70 and obtain a niffle, or do you have to be 85 to get the niffle(or 75 for 525 proffesion)?
     
    You can get it on your 70

    I'm gonna make a 71 rogue as well since I got niffle already, if it sux I'll just get some dagg0r for MH...
     
    i did some math a time ago and came to the result that crux is still better than nifflevar axe. Didnt test it, but the additional % for daggers beats the extra weapon dmg of nifflevar axe.



    The stats were taken from chardev. i used BiS gear and took the average weapon dmg of both and added them with the % bonus. The result is, that nifflevar axe isnt bad, but its slightly lower than crux

    Yeah, that helped a lot! Thanks! It seems that I'm going to stay at 70 then, maybe I'll lvl my DK instead.

    The jumping around bottom talent that I don't remember the name of might be cool.

    I actually though about going combat. Killing spree should pretty much destroy anything, but then that's it. Combat is pretty much same as "3min mages" back in the days. The energy regen is ridiculously slow, not to mention that you won't even get free finishers. But yeah, dunno yet.
     
    If I had dual niffs, I'd probably roll an enh shaman or a frost DK. Enh has nice healing capacity, and DKs are just good (jokes! gotta fanboy Kicts).
