New to this bracket! class help?

Hey guys, i have multiple twinks in multiple brackets and i'm just wondering what are some viable dps in the 39 brackets?What dps class currently sucks? ( excluding pally and mage i dpn't want to roll either because i already have them )



What dps class would you re-roll if you could?

notahunter, rogues and ferals are good(ferals meh) shams are always badass, priest plz dont roll one, aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaannnnd WARRIOR FTW!!! prot dps is the bomb

I would have to agree with soggy and advise against making a hunter. If you do decide to roll a warrior it may be a little rough for you, but they can hit like a truck. Personally, I say roll a shammy, but there may be a little bit of bias in that statement. Best of luck to you on whatever you decide and I look forward to seeing a new face in the gulch!

Shamans are really fun and all specs are viable. Enhance is fun w/ windfury which puts out nice DPS. Resto is strong w/ a nice amount of stam and SP, as well as ele, which will throw out some insane crits.



Also have a little bit of bias though.

You are always going to get varied answers, many biased, with a question like this. You have already discounted pally and mage yourself so just weigh up the pro`s and con`s of the other.



Each class can bring something in this bracket, in terms of either viability/support/damage/FC etc...



Imo, best to play a hybrid class if you are new to the bracket. This way you can gauge for yourself if you like dps/healing/combination of both. Don`t lock yourself down into one playstyle. Sometimes it can be fun to be able to do a varied role like an offhealer/CC`er or a support dps`er.



All things considered, Shaman would be a strong choice due to the caster/melee/healer variability.

I am most certainly not a normal poster, but when it comes to this bracket I feel the need to speak up from time to time. The advice given as far as hybrids go is good. If you choose to take this route priest (since pally is out of the question) is probably your best bet. While boomies are the bane of my existence with their circle of death, healing touch being bumped is a huge blow. Resto shammy, my preffered spec, is more than viable but has it's limitations and is very easily focused down if you do not play it properly. That leaves priest. If you know what you are doing, it is by far and away the healing class of the bracket. I have spent many a games stuck in a mind control/fear/fird likes to make life hell, coupled with competent CC there is not much one can do.



Just based on recent games I would say the numbers are even, but Alliance could use some talent infusion. We have a public vent for the bracket which I would be more than happy to share, but not on here. Feel free to send me a message in game at 'yoube - aerie peak'.
