EU+US New to f2p; some questions

Let me preface by preemptively apologizing if the answers to my questions are elsewhere on the forum; I did not find them.

Real quick: I'm a veteran WoW player who stopped playing some months ago. I came back and started playing my account as a f2p. I'm having a lot of fun PvPing, but I am interested in getting BiS gear.

My question(s):

Can I reactivate my account, equip my level 20 with the respective BiS items (The Rock, Griftah neck, etc), learn a profession beyond 100 and equip items from it, and go back to being a f2p after a month? Will it allow me to still use my character?

I'm thinking "yes," but I just want to be sure before I spend another 140k on a sub.

What you are doing would be considered a "Veteran account", aka, a F2P account that has been a paid account. F2P section here is for accounts made that have never had a sub.

As for items, yes, those stays. Last I checked, less, so do profs. However, I just returned after a 10 month hiatus, so I could be wrong.

So long as your character doesn't level past 20 then you can use them once your sub lapses. If you want to do any bg's and stuff while ur sub is active, don't forget to lock their XP. Then, just before sub expires, unlock XP again otherwise it bugs out and won't let u bg if sub lapses with locked XP.

Professions will allow you to use and equip items even after sub lapses but once sub lapses you won't be able to craft anything over about prof level 60 - 70.

Check out the Vet Forums. I'd strongly suggest if you sub up stocking up on some useful items that u won't be able to craft later, such as better bandages, goblin gliders etc. I'm on my phone atm so can't direct you easily to useful threads but have a squiz at the Vet section.

Also, unlock all your bank tabs and get the biggest bags you can, unlock void storage etc while sub'd as it will be so useful if you spend long periods of time unsub'd.

Most of all, have fun
